"You've got to be kidding me me." Nick deadpanned.

The group had met up outside —after buying their things— and was shocked to find the cart overflowing with decorations. Three of them being boxes that contained inflatable for the outdoors.

"How did this happen? I was even with you guys." Darcy wondered.

"I saw one of a cute ghost, then I ended up getting two more." Charlie admitted.

"I'm starting to think Darcy is rubbing off you, Charlie." Tao said.

"Probably."

"Hell yeah! Join the chaotic side!" Darcy cheered.

"I...I'll think about it?" Charlie questions.

Darcy did a small fist pump while mumbling a small 'yes' under her breath. Nick was still processing what he's gotten himself into.

Tara looked over at Nick, noticing the blonde's contemplated look. Tara gently elbowed the bloke getting his attention.

"Maybe we should see if your mom can come and pick some of this stuff up."

"Probably," Nick sighed. "I hope she doesn't mind this stuff."

"I'm sure she'll be more than thrilled," Tara reassured. "She's a lovely woman, and doesn't seemed to mind this stuff. She's very understanding, stop overthinking Nick."

"I know, I know," Nick takes out his phone. "Give me a sec."

Nick walked away to call his mom. Meanwhile, Darcy was gushing about how proud she was that Charlie got some inflatables to put outside, even though Charlie was feeling guilty.

Tara walked over to the two. Darcy and Charlie looked over at the girl.

"Do you mind if I have one of the inflatables?" Tara asked.

"Sure, which one?" Charlie smiled.

"I want the bat one."

Charlie agreed and told Tara she could take it home with her once Nick's house was done being decked out with Halloween decorations. Nick walked back up to the group and explained that his mom was coming to help.

"See? I told you." Tara stated proudly.

"Yes you were." Nick agreed.

After waiting for a few minutes, the group heard a honking sound. They turned to see Nick's mom parked in a parking spot as the trunk started to open. Sarah stepped out with a smile on her face as the group pushed their carts over to the car.

"Goodness. You weren't kidding about how much you guys bought." Sarah looked over to her son.

"Yeah..." Nick chuckled awkwardly. "I hope it isn't too much, mom."

"We'll make room, don't you worry Nicky." Sarah reassured.

"Welp," Tao spoke up. "Let's started packing up the stuff."

Once the group made it back to Nick's house with all their goodies, Elle pulled out the sketch on the kitchen table for everyone to look at. As everyone was looking at the design, Elle went over what jobs they all were gonna do. Nick, Sarah, Tara, Charlie were in charge of decorating the inside. Which left Isaac, Tao, Darcy and Elle in charge with the outside.

Despite being the one to help buy the outside decorations, Darcy wanted to blow up the inflatables. Charlie agreed which allowed him to stay indoors where it was warm, while Darcy had the power to be chaotic outside.
