It was a beautiful day outside. The outside was changing, especially the weather. The weather had quickly started to decrease each day, with small occasions of the weather being a bit on the warm side. The leaves on the trees had started to change colors quickly. The once lushes, with a variety of greens being replaced by red and brown leaves. People had started to bring out Fall outfits, from plaids to scarves. Sometimes couples would share the scarf with one another.

Nick was in his car driving, keeping his head up. While Tao, Isaac, Darcy, Tara and Imogen were in the back talking to one another, expressing their excitement. Nick was grateful he decided to get a van. Nick glanced at Charlie and saw that the bloke was staring out the window, clearly lost in his thoughts. Nick smiled as his eyes went back to the road.

"I can't wait until we get there! This is gonna be so fun!" Darcy squealed.

"I know, hun. But maybe tone it down a bit? Nick needs to focus on driving." Tara pleaded as she placed a hand on Darcy's shoulder.

"Right, right!" Darcy looked towards Nick. "Sorry, Nick—Tick."

"It's fine," Nick sighed as a small smile formed. "But please, stop calling me Nick—Tick. It makes zero sense."

"Let me think about that," Darcy pretended to think. "Naaah. I'm good."

Nick looked in his mirror and saw Darcy wearing a cheshire cat smile. Nick shook his head as he turned on his right turn signal, then started to turn right. Nick looked over at Charlie once more and saw the bloke had fallen asleep at some point. Nick frowned.

"How much longer?" Tao whined.

"Not much longer. Just be patient." Nick answered.

"That's what I've been, but I wanna get out and stretch my legs." Tao complained. "Besides, it's very crowded here."

"Tao, it's honestly not that bad." Elle reasoned. "Just wait until we get there, then you can stretch your legs." Elle gave Tao a quick peck on his cheek before giving the bloke a small smile.

"I'm surrounded by couples. Glob, help." Imogen giggled.

"Join the club." Isaac commented, his eyes never leaving his book. This caused Tao to give the distracted bloke a light shove.

"Don't worry, Imogen. I'm sure there's some boy out there," Elle sympathized, as a smirk appeared on her face. "Or girl."

"W-What!?" Imogen's face blushed a deep red.

Everyone started to laugh at the girl's reaction. Nick tuned them out once they started to talk about a different topic. Nick made another turn and started to slow, arriving at their destination. A pumpkin patch. Nick turned off the car and started to shake Charlie awake. The sleepy bloke woke up and rubbed his eyes as he sat up. Then, Nick turned to look at everyone in the back. "We've arrived."

The group —Darcy— went wild. Everyone took off and started to search for a pumpkin they were gonna carve their designs into. Darcy was zooming all over the place, picking up a pumpkin before placing it down when she saw a better one. Tara was carrying around a small pumpkin as she followed her girlfriend around, commenting from time to time that it's not big. Darcy digressed and kept looking for the perfect pumpkin. Tara let out a half hearty sigh before following her hyper girlfriend once more.

Tao, Elle, and Isaac were looking around. Elle had grabbed two white pumpkins as Isaac held a medium, fat pumpkin. Tao kept looking about, not sure which one he wanted to grab. Tao wasn't a great artist compared to his girlfriend, but he still wanted to show Elle how much he had —abilet not a lot— improved. After having a mental war in his brain, Tao shrugged his shoulders and picked up a medium, skinny pumpkin. The three saw Darcy and Tara running about and decided to combine the two groups together. Tara greeted them warmly, while Darcy said 'hi' but brushed them off as she gasped.
