The room was silent. Darcy was prowling the room, wtih everyone being seated in Nick's living room. Everyone wore fearful looks as Darcy looked like she was about to explode like a firework. Darcy eventually stood in the middle of the room with everyone looking at the blonde girl.

"Someone in this room is guilty," Darcy paused. "Gulity of...eating all the candy!"

"The horror!" Tara exclaimed dramatically.

"And I, Detective Darcy, am gonna find the culprit!" Darcy proudly said.

"Uh, do you even have any clues?" Tao questions.

"I do!" Darcy pulls out a small dark strand of hair.

"You do know that could've been placed there hours ago?" Elle reasons. "After all, small strands of hair usually falls out."

"That may be true," Darcy agreed. "But there's a few strands left in the bowl."

"I'm sorry, what?!" Tao shouted, his face scrunching up a bit.

"It's true!" Darcy quickly left the room, then came back with the bowl and handed it to Tao.

"That's so gross.." Tao grimaces.

"It is, but this helps eliminate two people: Nick and I!" Darcy cheered.

"That's cool and all" Nick spoke. "But that doesn't really get rid of a lot of people."

"Yeah, you only got two people out." Charlie agreed.

Darcy hummed, getting lost in her thoughts. Sarah walked downstairs and went into the living room. Everyone looked over at her, the poor woman wearing a perplexed look.

"Uhm, is everything alright?" Sarah asked.

"Ah, Ms. Nelson," Darcy breathed. "Would you please sit on the couch?"

"Uhh," Sarah looked over to her son. Nick shrugged his shoulders. "Alright?"

Nick got up from his spot and allowed his mom to sit in his place. Darcy dragged Nick by her side.

"May I ask what's going on?" Sarah asked.

"Someone ate all the Halloween candy, and Darcy is trying to act like Sherlock Holmes." Nick bluntly explained.

"And you get to be my Watson!" Darcy claimed. "And together, were gonna slove this case!"

"Honey," Tara piped up. "Couldn't we just go out and buy more candy?"

"At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if stores have started to run out of the sweets." Tao said.

"Tao!" Elle elbowed her boyfriend.

"What? I'm probably not wrong!" Tao retorted back.

"Key word: probably." Charlie chuckled.

"Le gasp!" Tao breathed dramatically. "How could you! I thought we were friends!"

Charlie and Tao shared a small laugh before Darcy cleared her throat, catching both of the blokes attention.

"Now that I have your attention," Darcy started as she paced. "Me and my sidekick-."

"Please don't call me your sidekick.." Nick interrupted.

"Me and my sidekick," Darcy emphasized. "Will be interrogating each of you separately. Starting with...Tao!"

"What?! C'mon man, that ain't fair." Tao whined.

"Quit your bitching," Darcy turns to Nick. "Grab him and I'll meet you in your room!"
