"Alright guys!" Darcy started. "It's October, which means it's a spooky month!"

Darcy cheered excitedly as she clapped her hand. The gang was over at Nick's house to plan out what they were gonna do for the month (besides school work).

Tara and Elle was excited. Nick and Tao just shrugged their shoulders, while Charlie and Isaac looked at one another then at Darcy.

"So, what exactly is the plan?" Charlie inquired.

"That's easy!" Darcy stood on top of Nick's coffee table. "We're gonna get some decorations from the closet around here and decorate!"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Nick piped up. "We're decorating my house?"

"Well, yeah." Darcy shrugged. "I mean, we're already here, sooo."

Nick sighed. He didn't mind getting his house ready for Halloween, he just wished he knew ahead of time. Nick liked being prepared, having some sort of plan. It's something that's been programmed into his head ever since he started playing rugby. Sure he would flip the script and not have a plan, but he just rather be safe than sorry.

"It's fine with." Nick started. "But, let me know ahead of time, ok?"

"Yep! Sounds good to me, Goldilocks!" Darcy gave Nick two thumbs up accompanied by a big smile. Nick let out a heavy sigh.

"Nick!" Tara spoke up. "You should dress up—!"

"Nope!" Nick stood up and excited the room.

Everyone burst out laughing as Nick went to his room.  Once he was in, he started to look for his wallet. Even though Darcy may have come up with the idea, Nick knew she didn't have money on her person the majority of the time.

Suddenly, he heard a light knock on his door. He looked over to see Charlie standing in his door way. The blonde smiled warmly and nodded his head before going over to his dresser.

He heard his bed squeak a bit, noting that Charlie was getting comfortable. Oh how desperately he wanted to tackle Charlie and give him cuddles, but their friends were here and they've been neglecting them for awhile now. So it wouldn't be fair to them, not to mention how awful Nick felt knowing that Charlie missed hanging out with his friends. Nick missed the group's shenanigans.

"You sure this is a good idead?"

"What do you mean, petal?"

"Well, you know how much Darcy just loves to decorate. Especially if it's a holiday that makes her act as if she's on a sugar high." Charlie stated.

"Eh—I don't mind. Plus, it's not like my house really gets decorated for any holidays. Except for Christmas. Cause, like, every single person does." Nick thought for a moment. "Except for those who celebrates Hanukkah or anything else, of course."

Charlie nodded. The bloke took this time to take in Nick's appearance. He wasn't dressed how he would normally dress. He wore a red fannel with ripped jeans, with black kicks. His shirt was black with a ghost on it.

"Ripped."

Nick turned towards Charlie with a puzzled look. Charlie pointed towards Nick's pants to which Nick finally realized.

"Oh, yeah. Thought I would change things up, y'know?"

"I do, but it's weird seeing your jeans if good condition."

"Hmm...I thought I wore ripped jeans before." Nick looked at Charlie confused. "Have I not?"

Charlie just shrugged. Nick shook his head and went to sit next to Charlie. Nick immediately rested his against Charlie's, holding his hand. Charlie smiled as he enjoyed their little moment. They've noticed how much clingier they got with each over a few months ago. If one of them was going somewhere, the other would tag along. If one of them was having a breakdown, the other would drop everything and rush over to comfort the other.
