The scene was perfect. The sunset in the distance was gorgeous, as it gave the sky a lovely warm ombre effect. Tori smiled as she watched the sun going into its slumber. A warm breeze danced through her black hair, closing her eyes as she took in her surroundings. It was peaceful. No one was around, it was herself and the sun.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice asked.

Tori opened her eyes and look to see a new, yet familiar bloke sitting down. Tori smiled at the bloke before looking back at the sun.

"Suppose so," Tori replied. "But when exactly did you get here, Michael?"

"I've been here for awhile," Michael answered. "Surprise you didn't notice."

"Hmm." Tori hummed. "Got distracted."

"Sunset?"

"Of course."

The two looked at the sky, a comfortable silence between the two. The breeze occasionally whispered into their eyes as the air was filled with cinnamon and lemons. Tori took a sip of her diet lemonade as Michael hummed a tune.

The two enjoyed the peace together. Everything just felt right, perfect. If Tori was dreaming, she didn't really wanna wake up. Then again, she would want to in order to spend time with Charlie and make sure he's alright. However, a part of her didn't really know whether she should stay or should she go. Her dreams were pleasant enough, but she wanted to live in the real world and make something of herself.

The fantasy life was just that: a fantasy. Of course nothing would be exactly similar to her dreams, since the world is nothing more than pure hell. Problems constantly appearing, people being the absolute worst, and having to exsist in a world where so few people actually had brains. But for the majority of it, people hardly used their brains and just spew nonsense that they don't even know how to explain, nor do they even know what they're saying. Whereas in the fantasy land, the world was better and people actually were smarter. Not to mention, she could possibly feel free. Free from feeling as if she didn't belong. Free to be more open and optimistic, like Michael.

Charlie being free from dealing with crisis after crisis.

Tori let out a heavy sigh as she leaned against Michael, taking a longer sip of her drink. Michael watched as he noticed Tori's mood change.

"Tori?" Michael spoke up. "Are you alright? You look...lost."

"How can you even tell?" Tori asked. "My face is constantly neutral. I hardly show any emotion."

"To others, yes, but to me? I can sometimes read you."

"Sometimes." Tori snorts.

"Hey!"

"Eh, sorry."

"Relax," Michael wraps an arm around Tori. "But seriously, what's wrong?"

"Just contemplating things." Tori shrugs. "Not a big deal."

"You sure? You're biting your straw."

Tori looked down and saw her straw had been chewed. Tori stuck out her tongue before taking a small sip.

"C'mon Tori," Michael pleaded. "Tell me what's up. I just wanna help you out."

Tori took a minute to think before opening her mouth and asking, "Are you real?"

Michael was taken aback, but quickly composed himself.

"No." Michael bluntly answered. "This is just in your head."
