Today was the day. The day that group had decided to go out and get costumes for Halloween. The wanted to do this early as a way to be prepared, as well as buy the good costumes rather than the cheap ones. Then again, the majority of costumes aren't that to begin with.

The group was standing outside a Halloween store, and Darcy was doing small jumps of joy.

"This is gonna be amazing!" Darcy beamed with pure excitement. "We're gonna be getting costumes!! Oh—Tara! We should get a couple costumes!"

"We should!" Tara smiled. "We would look adorable!"

"Hell yeah we would!" Darcy grabbed Tara's hand. "Let's go!"

Darcy led Tara inside the store, leaving everyone else still outside. Tao, Elle, Nick, and Charlie exchanged glances with each other before heading inside to follow their friends.

When they got inside, they were impressed with how well organized the store was, considering their were a few kids running around in order to find costumes and whatever other objects they could get their hands on.

"Wow, this place is actually nice." Tao examined the store. "I'm shocked."

"How so?" Elle asked.

"Most stores are chaotic and unkept." Tao explained. "I mean—kids are running around right now and the store is still in gøød condition!"

"Maybe the kids were taught manners at a young age?" Nick questioned.

"Why are we talking about kids when we're supposed to be looking for costumes?" Charlie spoke up. "Did I miss something?"

"No, no." Elle said. "Tao is just being Tao."

"Hey!" Tao huffed.

"Sorry, love." Elle apologized, giving Tao a quick peck on the cheek.

The two stared at each other, their cheeks turning a rosy color.

"Ahem,"Nick cleared his throat.

The two looked at Nick. Tao glared at Nick, upset by the interruption.

"Costumes?"

"Oh, yeah!" Elle remembered. "I'm gonna go see if this place has a hogwarts Ravenclaw costume, or maybe find something better."

Elle grabbed Tao's hand firmly.

"Let's go!"

Elle and Tao both left, heading off in the right direction. Charlie and Nick were left alone.

"Do we really have to find costumes?" Nick asked. "It's not like we're gonna go trick-or-treating."

"While that is true, this is something my friends and I have been doing for awhile. It's kinda became tradition, even after we grew out of trick-or-treating."

"So, this is just for fun purposes?"

"Exactly!"

"I see," Nick hummed. "What are you gonna go as then?"

"I'm not sure," Charlie admitted. "Perhaps I'll find the answer here. Wanna join me?"

"I would follow you to the ends of the earth, petal."

Darcy and Tara were looking down every costumes that were hanging on the wall. Darcy and Tara had picked out a few matching costumes, but still hadn't found the one.
