Eight: Hold on to Sixteen.

It was almost time for sectionals. Quinn and Ashleigh saw Rachel at her locker...

"I thought you weren't allowed here." Quinn said.

"I'm permitted on school grounds as long as I'm getting my work. Oh, Ashleigh, I wanted to tell you I'm available for vocal coaching if you need any help." Rachel says.

"You crazy? She doesn't need any help." Quinn said.

"You guys need to bring your "A" game if we have any chances at beating Teoubletones." Said Rachel.

"Oh, we're not gonna have any trouble with them. I'm not even threatened by them." Ashleigh says.

Blaine ran over to her, kissing Ashleigh on the cheek and smiling at her.

"What are we talking about?" Blaine asked.

"Oh, just that we're not gonna have any trouble beating Troubletones because I'm gonna get Shelby Corcoran fired." Quinn said.

"What? How?" Ashleigh asked, looking at Quinn and laughing softly.

"She's sleeping with Puck." Quinn tells them.

"What? Even she's not that stupid." Ashleigh muttered.

"That's a really, really dangerous rumour to make up, okay? You're gonna ruin her entire reputation." Rachel muttered.

"That's the point. And it's not a lie. I heard it from Puck." Quinn tells her.

"Firstly, Puck's 18, so technically, what Shelby and him are doing, even though it's wrong and gross, isn't exactly illegal." Ashleigh said.

"Ashleigh's right. All you'll be doing is you're just, you're getting her fired, which is gonna take away her income to provide food and clothes... and put a roof over her child's tiny little blonde head." Rachel mumbled.

"I'm not protecting Shelby; I mean, if you wanna report it, go ahead, Quinn, but it probably won't go any further." Said Ashleigh.

"It sounds like an unfit mother to me. I'll be waiting in the wings when they take Beth away from her." Quinn tells them.

Ashleigh and Blaine walked away.

"Beth loves her mom. Shelby's her real mom. Look, Quinn, you've done a lot of really bad things, but if you tell people this Puck-and-Shelby thing, you'll be ruining this little girl's life." Said Rachel.

Later, Will and Finn were in the choir room...

"Sectionals are in our auditorium for the first time since 1963." Finn says.

"Too much talking, not enough looking for songs for sectionals. We need to do something upbeat." Will said.

"Mr. Schue, maybe we need to concentrate on our performer problem... before we set our set list. At least the Cheerios can dance. We need star power..." Finn muttered.

"We need Sam Evans." Ashleigh says, walking into the choir room with Blaine.

"Ashleigh, Sam transferred. His whole family moved. We don't even know where he is." Will says.

"Not true. He's in Kentucky. It's just across the border, Cincinnati. It's about four hours from here." Ashleigh said.

"Wait, how do you know?" Asked Will.

"Um, he told me the day he was leaving right after... uh..." Ashleigh says, looking back at Blaine. "After he told me he loved me, he kissed me for like two seconds, and I practically slapped him."

"He... he kissed you? Why didn't you tell me this sooner?" Blaine asked.

"Even homeless people have Facebook." Finn says, pointing his finger at Ashleigh and walking away.
