The next morning, Ashleigh was standing in the auditorium behind the piano and began playing...
Ashleigh vocalised her notes when Tina walked over to her.
"Sounded pretty good to me." Tina said.
"I'm singing into the notes, not through them, but I'll get it." Ashleigh murmured.
"It actually never stops for you, does it? Have you heard back from Carmen Tibideaux yet?" Asked Tina.
"Nope, and I just have to accept that she won't take the deal. I've e-mailed and called her; there's nothing else for me to do." Ashleigh says.
"You know, I think it's really nice that you're doing all of this for your sister. And I'm sure she appreciates it, or maybe you're surprising her. Maybe you could go see her. It's what you suggested I do in the body-swapping dream I had about us. You fell in the fountain at the mall and hit your head; it was a total Freaky Friday. I was you, and you were me; Puck was Blaine, and I think he wanted to have sex with me as you." Tina tells her.
"That's, uh, that's actually very disturbing." Ashleigh mumbled.
"But then you, as Tina told me as Ashleigh, "Go see Carmen Tibideaux in person and don't take no as an answer." Tina said.
"Um, I'm very confused. But the advice I gave myself in your dream was good." Said Ashleigh.
"I did some research. Carmen Tibideaux is teaching a master class at Oberon. If we go right now, we could still catch her. I could drive."
"You would do that for me? For Rachel?" Ashleigh asked.
Tina nodded.
"Why? I mean, all that stuff you said... you weren't wrong. Look, everyone is important. And I'm very sorry if I made you feel like a supernumerary." Ashleigh says.
"Everyone has their part to play, right? Maybe this is mine." Tina tells her.
"Thank you." Ashleigh tells her.
"Ash..." Tina said.
Ashleigh stood up, hugging Tina.
"You know, next year, though, you and I are gonna be the lead singers. It's a lot of pressure, but between us... I'm not worried. Oh, please don't cry; you need to drive. And last time someone drove me somewhere, we ended up crashing." Ashleigh muttered.
Later, Sue walked into the choir room...
"Since Porcelain refuses to be a team player and dress up like a lady, we're gonna have to up our prop game. I've ordered 18 little people, one for each of you." Sue says.
"Wait. Little people?" Asked Will.
"Munchkins. I found 'em online, William. And don't worry, I got a mix of race and ethnicity, so you can keep up with your little diversity charade." Sue said.
