Sorry guys, work was crazy and with my wrist I do things very slowly.

Jaime and Lyanna had a moment and Lyanna makes a recommendation to Tommen. It is Tommen's coronation day and things do not go as planned. At least not like the kingdom planned. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

Lyanna could not help but feel bad for Tommen, the poor boy looked sad and overwhelmed. Everyone was attempting to get his attention, addling him and the small boy just looked scared. Lyanna knew he was not used to all this attention, since this was how his brother was treated. Lyanna felt disgusted when she saw the way the lords and ladies attempted to ingratiate themselves with the new king. They did not care that Tommen's father, or at least who he believed was his father, had just been buried. They were like vultures, attempting to pick the boy clean, like an abandoned carcass. Cersei was talking with Tywin, their voices low and the queen looked furious. Cersei had been upset since Tywin had freed Ned Stark and set up a contract to have Robb and Myrcella wed. He had then made sure that the young girl left with the Starks immediately. She was to be fostered in the North until she came of age and was wedded to Robb. Myrcella had seemed almost relieved to be leaving with Lyanna's parents.

Lyanna could not take it any longer, looking at Tommen who appeared to be close to tears. She moved closer to the small boy, giving him a gentle smile and extending her hand to him, which he took immediately.

"I apologize, my lords and ladies, but the king is tired." Lyanna gave Loras and Margaery Tyrell a polite smile, bringing Tommen to her side. "I believe we shall retire for the day so he can rest."

"I can accompany him." Margaery stood up, her smile sickly sweet. "I was enjoying our talk."

"You will not accompany him, he will be going to my chambers." The smile was gone from Margaery's face. "You may speak to him another day."

"I do not think you have the power to decide that." Margaery narrowed her eyes, attempting to be intimidating, which amused Lyanna.

"I have the power to do as I please." Lyanna's smile was more predatory now. "You can attempt and stop me, but I do not think you will like the outcome."

She did not wait for the other woman to answer before leading Tommen out of the throne room. The poor boy had been through enough in the past few days, she would not let him be gawked at while people descended on him like vultures. Tommen was a sweet child, he did not deserve all the things that had happened to him. If his family would not protect him, then Lyanna would. She nodded to the Kingsguard who always followed Tommen before walking into her chambers and closing the doors. She led the young boy to the large chaise lounge chair facing the balcony doors and sat down beside him.

"I will have the maids bring you some food." She ran a hand over his head. "You have not eaten today."

"I do not feel very hungry." The way he was looking at her, made her sad. He still looked scared. "I just want to stay here, it is quiet here."

"You can stay here for as long as you like." She continued running her hand over his head, which had seemed to calm him down and bring him comfort in the past. "But you need to eat something, we need you strong if you are going to rule as a great king."

Lyanna stood up and moved towards the door when Tommen's voice stopped her.

"I do not want to be king." She turned to the small boy, watching as his eyes filled with tears. "All I have ever wanted was to be a knight, like uncle Jaime. I will never be the king grandsire wants me to be."

"You do not know that Tommen." Lyanna walked back to the boy kneeling in front of him and taking his hands in hers. "You are still very young."

"I know it, I have always known it." A tear ran down his face. "I never dreamt of being king or to have power. All I wanted was to be a knight and go on great adventures. I do not want to stay here and be trapped forever."
