This chapter takes place right after the coronation. Jaime is not happy and talks to Lyanna. They have a moment. Jaime talks to his sister, who tells him some of her plans. Jaime's response is not what Cersei expected. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

Lyanna almost had to run to be able to keep up with her husband's long strides. Jaime was angry, well he was actually furious. After being named crown prince and the official heir of the seven kingdoms he had looked at her like she was to blame for everything. They had left the throne room right after all the lords had sworn loyalty to Tywin and his heir. Jaime had looked like he had wanted to run away, but after a few minutes that fear had become anger. For some reason, which she did not understand, he was angry with her. Lyanna was not sure what she had done to offend him. She had just stood there like everyone else and looked as things had taken an unexpected turn.
Jaime slammed the chamber doors open, pushing her inside and slamming the doors close behind him. He just stood there for a few minutes, his back to her as he stared at the door. Lyanna was not sure what she was supposed to say, so she decided to wait for him and not say anything.
"Why did you not say anything?" Lyanna tilted her head to the side, not sure what he meant. After a few seconds of silence, Jaime turned to her. "You knew this would happen and you said nothing!"
"What makes you think I was aware of what took place?"
"You did not look surprised." Lyanna lifted an eyebrow, waiting for him to continue. "Everyone looked shocked, including me. But you just stood there, not surprised at what was taking place."
"It was not hard to figure out what was happening a few seconds after your father entered the room." Lyanna shook her head. "I knew there was something wrong with Tommen, he had been too calm the whole day. And as soon as your father walked in I could see the way Tommen relaxed even more. I was not sure what would happen at first, but when Tywin mentioned the loan I immediately knew what he meant to do."
"How?"
"Because I have read the contracts before." Jaime still looked confused. "Your father asked me to look at them four years ago, the last time he loaned your sister gold. I did not know Tommen would be giving up the throne, I swear, I would not have kept that a secret."
"Why do you believe Tommen gave up the throne without being manipulated?"
"After talking to Tywin that first day Tommen still seemed a bit frazzled, but the next day he met with your father once more and he was calmer after that." Lyanna pushed a curl behind her ear. "I just thought Tywin had said something to calm his fears. But when I saw Tommen and Tywin today I could tell this is something both of them came up with."
"I am sorry." Lyanna frowned as Jaime gave her an apologetic look. "I did not mean to accuse you. I am just used to people not telling me things and making decisions about my life without consulting me."
"I am sorry. I know you did not want to be king." Lyanna took one of his hands, giving him a reassuring smile. "I know we have a lot of things to work through and that we do not trust each other. But I am your wife, I will not betray you or your family."
"I was under the impression you hated me."
"I do not hate you." This time Lyanna's smile was amused. "I just do not always like you."
Jaime laughed and Lyanna could not deny her husband was very handsome, especially when he laughed like that. When she had first met him she had believed he was the handsomest man she had ever seen. Like a golden knight from the stories, she enjoyed so much. Sometimes she had wished never to discover what had been happening between Jaime and Cersei. But then she would just shake her head, realizing that she would not want to live a lie for the rest of her life.
Lyanna jumped when she felt a hand on her face and looked up at her husband. She had not realized Jaime had moved so close. He was looking at her that way again and she could feel her body tremble. She was not sure if the reaction she had to him was normal. Should she not be repulsed by his touch? She did not like him most of the time, but she enjoyed the way he made her feel.
"I do not think I enjoy what you do to me."
"What?" Lyanna was a bit confused. Jaime moved closer to her, one of his hands traveling down her cheek, over her neck until they stopped on her chest. His eyes looked intense. "What am I doing?"
"I cannot get you out of my mind. I keep thinking of that day when you allowed me to touch you. Were you aware you taste like lavender cakes? I wanted to never stop kissing you, to never stop touching you." His face moved closer to hers, his nose dragging alongside hers. She felt both his hands move and travel down her naked back. This had not been the best day to wear a gown that left her back bare. "You have the softest skin, unblemished. I want to drag my lips all over your body, see if you are as soft everywhere."
Lyanna felt like she was about to melt, goosebumps appearing as he ran his fingers down her back. Jaime placed a kiss at the corner of her mouth, his hands tightening on her lower back. He pressed her closer to his body until her breasts were crushed against his chest. His mouth moved closer to hers, their lips almost touching. She wanted to beg him, needed him to kiss him.
His lips touched hers softly, almost like he wanted her permission. Lyanna parted her lips and that was all the authorization he needed. The kiss was slow and deep, that honey and spice taste taking over her senses, she needed more of it. Lyanna clamped her lips around his tongue and sucked eagerly, taking more of his taste. She felt his cock throb as it pressed against her. Jaime moved her backward until her buttocks hit the bed, one of his hands pulling up the skirts of her gown until his hands touched the lace of her stockings. Lyanna's hands went to his shoulders, needing something solid to hold on to. He lifted her until she was sitting on the bed, his hands lowering her stocking until he was touching the skin on the back of her knee. His hips settled between her legs, moving against her as his tongue pumped in her mouth.
The heat in her body built and she felt her nipples tighten until they pressed against the silk of her gown. Jaime shoved his thigh against her core, making her gasp into his mouth. Jaime's hands went to her ass, dragging her over his knee. His mouth left hers, making her whimper until she felt his lips on her neck, sucking on the skin. Lyanna's hips moved on her own, wanting that feeling once more. Her moans raised in volume as Jaime's hands seemed to be everywhere. His mouth covered hers once more, his tongue stroking hers, making her shudder against him.
There was a knock on the door. They barely had time to pull themselves apart before the doors slammed open and Cersei walked in. She looked between them and her face filled with hate. Jaime stepped in front of Lyanna who was still sitting on the bed, giving her time to straighten her clothes and stand up. She could not help but notice Jaime was looking at his sister in annoyance.
"Get out." Cersei sneered at Lyanna. "I need to speak to my brother."
"I am sorry, but I will not be going anywhere." Lyanna smiled at her good sister. "These are my chambers. If you want to speak to my husband in private then you can go somewhere else."
"You..." Cersei took a step towards Lyanna and Jaime stepped in between them.
"Why are you here?" Cersei looked furious as she took her eyes away from Lyanna and looked at her brother. "Cersei, what do you want?"
"We need to talk about what happened." Cersei crossed her arms over her chest. "In case you did not notice our father just stole the throne from my son."
Jaime let out a sigh and gave Lyanna an apologetic look. For some reason, this was the first time she did not feel bad about her husband leaving to speak to his sister. She had not thought much about it, but she now realized that Jaime had not looked at his sister the same way as before for a while now. Something had changed, she just was not sure what it was.

Jaime followed Cersei, cursing her in his head for interrupting the moment with Lyanna. His wife, who had given into his so sweetly. He could not remember ever feeling so much with just a kiss. Lyanna was sweet and caring, she was warm and made him feel things he had never felt before. Jaime had thought himself in love with Cersei since they were children, his sister had always insisted they were meant to be together. Now Jaime was not sure of what he was feeling, since he discovered Cersei had been fucking several different men behind his back he had been looking at things in a different way. He had thought back to every conversation they ever had, to all the things she had convinced him to do. All the things she convinced him he wanted. He did not know what was real any longer.
Jaime followed Cersei into her chambers, waiting for the doors to close before looking back at his sister. Cersei was pacing back and forth, mumbling to herself. Jaime did not say anything, waiting for his sister to speak.
"I cannot believe he would do something like this." Cersei finally turned back to him, glaring, like everything that had happened was his fault. "Our father stole Tommen's throne."
"He did not steal it, the crown owed our father a substantial amount of gold." Cersei glared at him and Jaime shrugged. "You also know that Tommen did not want to be king, he has never wanted it. He was relieved that our father took the responsibility away from him."
"He is a child, he does not know what he wants. He does not really understand what he has given up."
"Just because all you want is power does not mean Tommen wants the same things."
"He is the rightful king." Cersei's glare became more heated as Jaime let out a laugh. "The iron throne is his right."
"You know that is not true." Cersei stopped pacing, looking at him like he had lost his head. "Tommen is a bastard by law, he has no rights to anything. Do not buy your own lie, you know that none of our children have a right to anything, much less to the iron throne."
"I cannot believe you would say something like that. They are our children."
"I know, which is the reason why they have no rights to the throne."
"This is because of her, is it not? Lyanna." Jaime could not help but tense. In all honesty, his wife had nothing to do with this, but Cersei always needed someone else to blame for her mistakes. "I saw how you looked at her in your chambers, the way you have been staring at her for the past few weeks. Have you been cunt struck brother?"
"Do not." Jaime glared at his sister. "Do not speak about her that way. Do not blame her for our mistakes. Lyanna has nothing to do with this."
"Of course she does, she has turned my entire family against me. She has stolen everything, just like her whore aunt did." If his sister had been furious before, she was enraged now. "Even my own children prefer her to me. I will not allow her to take what is mine."
"That has always been your problem, you see people as your possession. You do not care about anyone except yourself." Jaime shook his head, he should have seen his sister for what she was. "All you care about is power and controlling those around you."
"Power is the only way I can protect myself." Even now she would not admit her own mistakes. "Father already took away my title as dowager queen. What do you think he would do now that I have been windowed once more? He will force me to wed."
"Maybe you should speak to him." Jaime was through letting Cersei manipulate him. "He has already made several alliances, he does not need to wed you again. Unless you become a problem for him."
"Jaime I need you." Cersei walked to him, looking at him with sweetness once more, just as she had before. But now he could see through it, could see the way she was attempting to manipulate him. "We are the same, we need each other. We were always meant to be together."
"No, we were not." Jaime took a step back, getting himself out of her hold. "All the things we did were wrong, we should have never looked at each other that way. We should have never had children together."
"Now you are regretting our children?"
"I do not regret them." At least not Myrcella and Tommen, Joffrey was a bit more complicated. "But that does not mean I am blind to all the mistakes we have made. Thanks to us our children are in constant danger. If anyone were to find out they are not Robert's they could ask to have them executed. That is why our father taking the throne might be a good thing for Myrcella and Tommen, this way there will not be so much scrutiny."
"I did not know you had such ambitions." Jaime frowned in confusion. "Now that you have been named heir to the throne you have started to think about what it will be like to be king."
"It is incredible that after so many years you still do not know me at all." Lyanna knew him better than Cersei did, his wife knew he did not want to be king, and how scared he was of all the responsibility that had been placed on his shoulders. "I could have been king from this start. Let us not forget that I was the one who killed the mad king. I was the one sitting on the iron throne when the lords broke into the throne room. I have never wanted to be king."
"You should have more ambition, Jaime." Cersei ran a hand over his face, her smile gentle, but she was not fooling him. "We could rule this kingdom together. No one would be able to stand against us."
"And what about my wife?" He had an idea of what Cersei wanted to do, but he wanted her to confirm it.
"We can get rid of her." He could see the way her eyes shone with malice, she had not understood anything yet. "It would be so easy to make it look like an accident."
"Yes, it would." Cersei looked relieved that Jaime was agreeing with her. He caressed his sister's face, his hands running down her neck until he took hold of her shoulders. He tightened his grip until he saw her flinch. "If you touch Lyanna, if you have anyone attempt to hurt her I will make what happened to the mad king look like a child's game."
"You would choose her over us?"
"She is an innocent and my wife." He wanted Cersei to understand how serious he was about this. His sister tended to believe everything was a game. "I will not allow you to hurt her just because you believe she is in your way. Lyanna is not to be harmed. If she so much as cuts a finger I will hurt you Cersei. You will know pain like you have never known before. Do not test me."
Cersei's mouth had fallen open and Jaime had to admit it was nice seeing her without words. He was done being manipulated by Cersei and being her puppet. He was tired of his sister controlling his life. Jaime was not sure what was happening with Lyanna, or what his feelings towards hers were. All he knew was that the thought of her being hurt made his chest tight and made it hard to breathe.
