The next day, I decided to apologize to Timmy for being mean to him yesterday, I know how much he likes...rats.
I knocked on his door, and his mom answered.
"Oh, Hello Hollow."
I looked nervous..
"Uh Hi, Miss. Torelo.. Is uh Timmy home?"
"Yes." She said "Come in."
When I went inside, I saw Timmy watching Dora.
"Timmy?!" I was surprised.
Timmy quickly turned off the T.V.
"MA! WHAT THE HECK! You're supposed to tell me who's coming in!"
Timmy's mom shook her head and continued making dinner and talking on the phone. I laughed...I looked at Timmy.
"Sorry, kid. Uh... Doras a good show."
"Shut up" Timmy mumbled.
"Look, no matter how much I like to tease you, I didn't come for that."
"Then why did you come?" Timmy asked, irritated.
"I came to apologize for yesterday, I- didn't mean to yell at you.. I just found out some... *chuckles* very.. Serious stuff.
Timmy understood. "Apology accepted friend!"
I gave him a hug.
He hugged me back.
I let go.
"Soo, can I see your rat?"
His eyes lit up, "Thought you would never ask!"
He took me to his room to see a giant rat on his bed. I almost barfed in my mouth
. "Isn't he adorable Halo?!"
I didn't wanna be mean. "I- Uh well-"
"look, I know this is a big rat you are looking at, but check this out!"
Timmy then leaned down near the rat and made a weird noise.
"Tim-" I said.
The rat went on Timmy's shoulder.
"Neat!"
"You know Tim, you should really work with animals when you get older."
Timmy and his rat looked at me, "Really Halo?"
I chuckled.
"Yes! Seems like you really love animals."
He looked at his rat.
"You hear that Rein, we are made for each other. "
He went in for a kiss and the rat attacked him.
"Timmy no!"
I took a book and slapped the rat.
Timmy had a bite mark on his left cheek.
"Rein!"... "Halo! Why would you do that!?"
"Timmy, the rat probably had rabies-"
"So!? Timmy cried, "she was my first pet!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry, but I made the right call, I'm not gonna let your.... "Rat" attack you.
"We have to give her a funeral!" said Timmy.
"Timmy-"
Timmy shook his head.
"No excuses Hollow Mabel, you have to make the biggest speech for Rein.... She was a legend."
