Chapter 16: Talk With The Mayor.

While in town, Valerie, and Drake parked their Switch-Cycles in front of Town Hall, and knocked on the door, while two men in suits were guarding it. Of course, the two would have to talk with the guards, before entering the building.

"Remind me why we're here again?" Drake asked. "Because we need to get the mayor's approval to stop these vampdroids attacking the town," Valerie answered. "Half of the police is are probably corpses now, so we need to do something to help the place we live in." "Well I guess I can't argue with any of those terms," Drake commented.

Just as the two were about to go upstairs, and meet with the mayor, one of the guards in front of the door stopped them from entering. "Stop," he said. "What business do you have with the mayor at this time?" "We are vampdroid hunters," Drake explained. "We came to tell the mayor that we plan on getting rid of the one's who are draining the blood from the police, and also working for an escaped Alcatraz convict." "Come with us then," the guard said opening the door.

The two followed the guards into Town Hall, while also making sure that the vampdroids might be around in the building, and then entered the mayor's office, where he was finish the last phone call that he was on the phone with. "I know, Governor Murphy, but as I explained the U.S Army is still in space," the mayor explained, then saw the vampire couple enter. "Hang on, I have an appointment. I'll call you back." The mayor hung up the phone he was on, before talking with the vampire couple in his office.

"Please make it quick," the mayor said. "As you can see from my last phone call, I am a very busy man at this time." The mayor's name was Owen Murphy according to the name plaque on his desk with white lettering. "Mr. Mayor, we heard you might be having problems with a vampdroid infestation, so we came to help," Valerie explained. "I see," Murphy commented. "Well I didn't think someone would actually be able to help. All of the police officers of this town are still in the hospital getting their blood replaced from when they were first attacked." "Well luckily we know how to get rid of the one's who did it," Drake explained.
