Before going into town, Valerie, and Drake decided to take the Switch-Cycles on a little test drive, so they used the running field as a race track. Of course, they were also able to jump over some hurdles, while riding.
"This is much easier than riding a bike, while also I think I can feel the adrenaline in my body while at this speed," Valerie said. "Believe me," Drake agreed, while also enjoying how fast he was going. "Even if I didn't ride a bike at a young age in my old kingdom, I still believe this is the best way to travel, while helping other people."
Just as the two stopped at where the lab started, they got their Switch-Cycles off of the track, along with their own bodies to keep their feet softened. "You know, bike riding is amazing, but somehow I wish our feet would freshen up every time we get off them," Drake said. "Well no one said riding a vehicle was easy for anyone," Valerie agreed. "Nice work, you two," Vincent answered. "Now let's see if you can handle a little target practice while you are riding."
Vincent pressed a button on the remote to the track, which caused all the hurdles to fold back, and become turrets filled with led bullets. "Oh, now that's gonna be hard to do," Valerie commented. "Don't worry," Vincent explained. "Like I mentioned before, your Switch-Cycles are loaded with ammo too. You press the green button if you want to launch laser bullets, and the orange button is for missiles if you want to launch those." "What about the red button?" Drake asked. "What is that for?"
"That is to unleash the grappling hook," Vincent explained. "You might need to use it when you want to land somewhere, or after jumping off a cliff when you want." "Well let's see how much fire-power these things can launch," Drake said, while also getting back on his own Switch-Cycle, and Valerie followed while they both drove towards the turrets. While remembering which buttons to press, the missiles, and laser bullets launched out of the Switch-Cycles while causing all of the turrets to explode while they drove past them. "The turrets explode like a dream, and I'm enjoying every single moment of it," Drake commented.
