Chapter 6

"Why ,do I make you nervous?"

"You don't make me nervous."

"You sure about that Dragoste."

"So you came all the way over her to get in my pants."

"No I came all the way over her because I know you want to get in mine."

I spent the whole morning spacing out and thinking about his woodsy scent, and that slight accent. So much so that I was 10 minutes late for school. When I walked in there were two empty seats. One by Cora the other in the front of the class. I normally sit by Cora but I felt so guilty I couldn't bring myself to sit by her. I mean she was great and all but Austin was just woah.

"Ah Ms.Carson could you please sit down." Mr.Rogers said

'Okay at first it was funny now it's annoying how bout you call him Mr.Jones.' Alidia said annoyed.

"Yes sir." I said sitting in the front speaking to both Alidia and Mr.Jones.

"Oh and I need to talk to you after class."

"Okie Dokie."

"So Zoe I assume you know what I and your mate are." Mr.Jones said after class.

"Yep hence him being my mate. Woah wait you're a werewolf." I said in response.

"Well of course and I also assume you haven't told anyone like Emily or Cora." he said leaning on his desk a stand of blonde hair falling to his face.

"Well Emily already knew before I did but I haven't told anyone."

"How are you and Cora I saw you didn't sit by her today." He said crossing his arms.

"What would you do if you were seeing someone when you met Mr. tall-sexy-werewolf?"

"Well if you would like I could-wait someone is outside the door." Mr.Jones started to whisper.

Wait how did he-?

"Oh yeah super hearing." I said as he crept to the door like he was a tiger ready to pounce.

He slowly put his hand on the door nob and slowly turned it. Suddenly he pulled the door open to catch the listener. When he opened the door a surprised Emily fell in the class room.

"Hah the thing is I forgot to ask Zoe if she wanted to get the whole break up thing over with." Emily said dusting herself off.

"As I was saying if you want I can give you an excuse to go talk to your mate." Mr.Jones continued.

"Oh definitely because I need to talk to Val about baby names." Emily squealed.

"Didn't you guys meet like yesterday?" I asked.

"Well when the moon goddess send you visions of little kids running around calling you mommy then you would want to talk about the future too." Emily said.

"Um sure, could you make an excuse for Emily too."

"No problem I can get you out of school in about 5 minutes." He said holding the door open.

"Thank you sir." I said pulling Emily out the door.

"Zoe your my beta female, off school premises you can call me Steve."

I walked out of the classroom and headed to Writing with Emily. As soon as we entered the classroom both Emily and I were sent home.

'That was faster than 5 minutes.' Alidia said confused.

Well whoever is picking us up was eager.

'Do you smell that?'

Oh no. I could sleep in a bed of that smell and never wake up but now is not the time or place.

"Oh yes." Emily said.

As we walked to the front office that natural woodsy smell engulfed my nose. I saw the secretary looking at Austin like a piece of meat and I wasn't liking it. Luckily he wasn't paying attention to her but instead on me which left me not so lucky after all. I was wearing my tight red dress that flared out from the waist down. I don't think that was helping his wolf keep control.

"Hey Austin." I said almost in a whisper.

"Zoe, hey" he retorted awkwardly.

I was right for the most part anyway. I like the way my name came out of those lips and I wondered what those lips would feel like on my mouth again. Our first kiss was ,well pretty short and not as great as it could be.

"Hey Ms.Jackson don't you have work to do." I scowled at the secretary.

Emily pulled Austin and I outside and directed him to lead us to the car. We walked for a few seconds and came up to a red BMW. I wanted to sit in the back but the little witch pushed me in the passenger seat and lock my door.

"A little jealous weren't we,Dragoste." Austin or I'm thinking his wolf said pulling out of the parking lot.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Convel, but if you want I can take Master." he said seductively.

Ha okay whatever you say buddy.

"In your dreams and what did I say about horny wolves."

"Sweetie you haven't met one,but I could do you a favor and have you meet one later." He said placing his hand on my thigh.

"I rather talk to Austin." I said looking out the window sliding my legs closer to the door away from his hand.

"Oh Dragoste that really hurt." Convel said pushing my hair behind my ear.

Look at the road Jeez. I ignored whatever nonsense he was saying and just looked at the surroundings. I could see the trees and buildings quickly pass us by. Something calming came from the green and brown blurs but I had to think. My grandparents are coming in like a day or two and at some point I need to talk to Kash about the whole mates business. I also have to deal with horny wolf while trying to talk to Austin. Great, I can forget about trying to do homework.

"We are here." Emily said tapping my shoulder from the back seat.

I quickly got out of the car and headed to the front door. I knocked on the door not wanting to wait for Austin or Convel or whoever has body control. A brunette haired woman I believe from my dream opened the door.

"Oh my gosh it is so nice to finally meet you. Wow Austin's description did not give you justice." She said with a welcoming smile.

"Oh thanks but can we go inside I don't wanna deal with Convel." I said looking behind me.

"Ah the the sexual animalistic wolf. It's like heat but for guys."

"How do you stop it?" I said going inside towards the living room.

"The same way you would have to stop heat." She retorted sitting down in the couch.

So sex. Perfect.

"I never got your name."

"Luna. I was daughter of an Alpha so I was destined to be one I guess." Luna said with a laugh.

"I thought Ross was born to be Alpha."

"He was, when we found out we were mates we joined packs put kept his pack's name."

I nodded my head in understanding. I felt him. I turned my head to the general direction of that eery feeling.

"Um,Zoe can I talk to you alone?" Austin said.

"Depends who am I talking to. Austin or Convel."

"Austin." He said rubbing the back of his neck obviously sorry.
