I was sitting at a fairly large table with Ross, Luna, Valeria, Emily, Kash, Alice and Austin in the dinning room at the pack house. There was a awkwardness in the room probably because Alice was freaking out when she found out about the whole mate and werewolf thing.
"Zoe, can I talk to you for a second?" Alice asked with shaking hands.
"Yea, sure." I said walking towards Austin and I's room.
Alice followed me and I opened the door walked in and sat on the bed.
"So this is your room?" Alice asked.
"Um it's more Austin's room but yeah. I assume you don't want to talk about drapes and bed sheets." I said.
"How can you love something like Austin?" Alice asked slightly disgusted.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I said getting angry.
"I mean he's a monster, he's probably killed people."
"And what makes you think that little miss innocent." I said standing up.
"And ya know what Kash and I are the biggest monsters there are in your standards." I said while my eyes started to turn yellow.
"Are you gonna hurt me?" she asked quivering.
"No, I'm not but there is something that your gonna do, you're gonna go home and never talk to my brother again. Got it?" I said.
She shook her head yes and opened the door. I looked over to see Kash and Austin listening in to the conversation. Alice scooted through Kash and ran out the door.
"Alice wait!" Kash yelled running after her.
"She's gonna hurt him." I said trying to go after them but couldn't because of Austin's strong hands.
"How?" Austin said.
"She thinks we're monsters, she sure as hell called you one. When Kash hears that he will be so broken." I cried out trying to get out of Austin's grasp.
"Stop Zoe, please." Austin said pulling me into the room and pushing against the wall.
He flicked off the lights and closed the door.
"What are you doing?" I said still a bit angry.
"You need to calm down, okay?" Austin said while puttong his forehead against mine.
He leaned his head to my neck, not to nip, kiss, lick or bite but he just let his head stay there with his nose at the crook of my neck. Something was calming about it I don't know why. Nothing sexual just innocent in a way.
"I'm calm." I said breathing out.
"Good." Austin said removing his face from my neck.
"How did you know that would help, and why did it help?" I asked looking into his green eyes.
"I don't know I just knew something peaceful and innocent would calm you." Austin said.
We suddenly heard a knock at the door. Austin, keeping eye contact with me, opened the door. Emily then poked her head out the doorway.
"Am I interrupting lovey-dovey time?" Emily said in a baby voice.
" No of course not come in." I said while turning on the lights.
She walked in and sat on the bed.
"I'm not supposed to tell you this but I saw something about your oldest daughter, Baje." Emily said.
"I thought you weren't gonna tell us the names until I got pregnant." I said worried about my friend.
"Something might happen to me after I tell you this so you need to know everything now." Emily said with her hands slightly shaking.
"Then don't tell us. I don't need you getting hurt." I said while sitting next to her and rubbing her arm in comfort.
"I have to. Your youngest daughter, Ewe, is completely fine as far as I can see. Very full of energy a little childish always annoying her sister and looking up to my daughter, Jerine, which she really shouldn't. Baje she is very private so I don't know much except that she um.." Emily said.
"What happened Em?" I said.
"A man that knows my daughter and your daughters, after he kills someone trying to protect them he starts to continuously abuse them. I don't know what he looks like or how he knows them but I know it's gonna happ-" Emily said but stopped.
"Emily!" I said as Emily fell into my arms unconscious.
"She said to much." I suddenly heard.
"You can't stop it from happening it must happen, or you will not find the twin souls." A woman said.
"She will awaken when she is no longer a danger to your futures." The woman continued.
"What about her daughter Jerine?" I asked.
"You and Luna will help Valeria in anyway you can." The woman said.
I looked down to Emily and kissed her forehead. I've known her most of my life and she has helped me when I was depressed. She was there when Kash and I started living alone and during a period of time I liked her. Which seems weird since I see her as a sister now.
"Val!" Austin yelled.
I could hear the clicking of boots start to go moderately then speed up faster and faster.
Tap.
Tap.

Tap.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.Tap tap tap tap. Taptaptaptap.
"What happen?" Val asked in her Romanian accent.
"She told us something she shouldn't have." I said looking up at her.
"Give her to me." Val said with no emotion.
My eyes began to get teary I could barely see. I hugged Emily like it was the last time I would see. I stood up holding Emily in my arms and handing her to Val.
"I need to think." I said walking out of the door and heading to the back porch.
"Zoe!" Austin yelled out.
"Alone Austin." I said as I continued to walk.
