Chapter 11

"What do you mean?" I said confused, Grandfather never brings up my mother.

"Sweetie let's go to the living room to sit." Grandma said trying to lead me to the living room.

"No, I'm gonna get answers now." I said pulling my arm away from her.

"Now you will not speak to your grandmother that way." Grandfather said while grabbing my arm roughly.

"Johna!" Grandma yelled pulling me away.

Huh so that's his first name.

A rumbling growl erupt from Grandfather. I have always been afraid of him because of his authority but now I was afraid because he suddenly became taller, his eyes once brown now a shade of yellow, filled with anger. I felt strong warm arms wrap around me and pull me away from Grandfather. Grandma started whisper something into Grandfather's ear before he calmed down from his animalistic state.

"What the hell is going on?" Kash said finally entering the area but hearing the whole thing.

"Just sit down and we will explain." Grandma said walk into the living room.

Austin had me sit on his lap, Luna sat next to us and Kash sat next to her. Grandma and Grandfather are now standing in front of the tv.

"As you probably know all shifters turn into their animal counterparts but the Carson blood is different. We have Alpha blood and sometimes you can't control your emotions or your actions. Some have even snapped-" Grandfather started.

"Did mom snap?" Kash asked.

"Sadly yes. When she was rejected by your father,her mate, she lost her human side. Luckily it was a slow process so you and Kash were born before she completely went crazy." Grandma retorted.

"So he just slept with her and then rejected her?" I asked getting angry at my father, if I could even call him that.

"Yes but there is a reason we didn't tell you. We thought if we hid that world away from you guys that you wouldn't mature your wolf and three was a small risk of you guys snapping." Grandma continued.

"There is something else. We aren't your average Alpha's we are stronger, more connected with nature, faster, and we shift differently. We are the definition of werewolf."Grandfather said suddenly.

It has been three days since that life changing Sunday and I still couldn't grasp it. Not only that but Cora has been acting strange. Whenever I pass her I see her scribbling hard in a notebook and I have only seen a few words, Bitch.......Plan........Jessie....... Regret.......... and Pain. Not only that but she had an argument with Alice, which is her best friend, because Alice couldn't choose between Kash and her. She said I quote "If you loved me like a sister the way you say you do, then you would dump that shit colored face Kash." Alice is too sweet to cause harm on anyone but I could tell she wanted to when she told me about the argument during lunch today.

Cora also has been hanging out with these people that made fun of me in middle school, I was on the chubby side. I continued to walk to my last period with Em when I heard heels behind me. I turned around to see Cora in a strapless peach top and some white beach shorts wearing peach heels. She was walking in front of a group of my old bullies.

"You know for a slut you're really smart Zoe. I mean either that or you suck the teachers' dicks for your fabulous grades." Cora said with something in her eyes, regret, no it has to be something else.

"No I'm just smart and to be honest the last dick I sucked was yours. I mean if it walks like a man, talks like a man, and has a dick it must be Cora." I said before walking away.

"Wait did I really just say that?" I said realizing what I said to Cora as we walked into class.

"Yeah maybe it's the Alpha blood." Em said sitting at her desk.

"Yeah maybe."

"Ms.Carson." my writing teacher said suddenly.

"Yes Ms.Hughes."I retorted.

"A Austin Short will be picking you up today instead of you riding the bus."

"Does it say anything about Emily?" I asked.

"Uhhh." Ms.Hughes said looking through some papers.

"Ahh here. A Valeria Short will be taking you home, Ms.Fields" she said toward Em.

Once everyone was settled in class Ms.Hughes had us finish our 3 page stories that had to be either Comedy, Romance or Fantasy. Em and I had already finished last class so we had free time to talk.

"So how did you parents take having Ross and Val over?" I asked.

"They knew the day before." Emily said casually.

"How-ohhhhh the whole see the," I lean in closer and whisper " future thing" I finished.

"Yes you are right, so you and Austin have you?" she asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"We have not. I wanna wait for a little bit."

"Not even foreplay?" she asked.

"Maybe sooner than later." I said thinking about what it would be like.

"How is Val gonna take you to- wherever you're going if you have a car?"

"She's gonna ride with Austin and she is gonna ride with me."

"Thats makes no since you could just drive to wherever you need to be." I said butting my chin in my hand.

"Shhhhh. Don't question, just let it happen." Em said suddenly putting her finger on my lips.

I hand slapped the desk and caught our attention. Em and I looked up to see an angered Ms.Hughes glaring at us. All eyes are on us and I could tell some people were holding back laughs.

"Ladies last I checked you should be finishing up your narrative pieces not having social hour." she said sternly.

"Well, Ms.Hughes we finished our work earlier than everyone else and you haven't given us any more work to do. So we are about to get punished for doing nothing when we had nothing to do."Em said matter-a-factly.

"Um-well go on with you were doing!" Ms.Hughes yelled to the rest of the class.

'Beware of the Luna she changes you, makes you a better and worse you. Only you can decide which.' Alidia said.

'Where have you been?'I thought

'Enjoying the show called your life.'

'Why didn't you tell me I have Alpha blood?'

'All these questions and no action.'

'What do you mean by action?'

"Beware bitch." I heard from behind me.
