Chapter 18

" I can give you what she won't" Someone said.

"I don't know about this." A guy said.

Austin?

I could see two pairs of feet as if I was looking from under a bed. Heels and sneakers. The heels got closer and closer to Austin.

"Oh come on she's a child, you need a strong woman." the woman said.

"Jessie she is my mate."

Jessie? I've heard that name before, no I've seen it before. In Cora's notebook.

"She is gonna reject you." the woman said confidently 

"How do you know that?"

"I saw her with her ex girlfriend Cora."

"No, she would never do that. NO!" Austin said.

"Now let me please you."

Silence. Then I heard kissing and they fell onto the bed. Tears trimmed down my face. If I would've just let Convel do what he wanted this would have never happened. They would for sure that I love them.

I woke up hearing Luna on the phone with someone. I sit up and look around. I was in a hotel.

"Hey, I gotta go Zoe's up. Love you. Bye." Luna said before walking up to me.

"How ya doing sweetie?" Luna said wiping hair from my face.

"Not so great. How did I get here?" I asked.

"After your fight with Convel/Austin you took your stuff and wanted to head home. You didn't because you knew your brother or your grandfather was going to kill Austin so I recommended a hotel." Luna said in response.

"I need to see Austin."

"I don't think that's a good idea Zoe." Luna said worried.

"I want to meet him here and I don't think you should stay while he's here." I said.

"Zoe if he hurts you in anyway call me and I will personally beat his ass, got it." Luna said seriously.

"Got it." I responded.

"I'll call him and you just wait."

I shook my head in response.

I got Luna to leave shortly after she called Austin and I changed into more "appropriate" clothes for the situation that I was planning for. I put on one of the bathrobes and waited. Five minutes later I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I said.

Austin slowly walked in.

"Sit." I said patting the area next to me.

When he sat down I stood up and moved so I was standing in front of him. I started to carfully stradle his lap. Austin confused stayed still. I slowly pulled Austin's chin closer and closer. I leaned in for a kiss. The spark that I normally felt wasn't there. This was forced, I knew that but I was hoping Austin didn't. I pulled at his shirt as I tried to take it off of him. Our lips parted so I could fully take off his shirt.

I could feel his sculpted body under my hand. I slid my hand downwards until I got to his jean's button. I let my quivering hand unbutton his  pants as I looked up at him.

"Zoe what are you doing?" He asked worriedly.

"I have to do this , so you'll be happy. Convel wants me to do it." I stated 

"What happened to you wanting it to be romantic?" Austin asked.

"I want you to be happy with me and not fight with me, so if this is the way then I'll do it." I whispered.

Austin took my hands put them on his chest and pulled me in for a hug.

"I don't want you took make any choices based off of me."

" I'm not."

"Then what?"

"My insecurities that you'll leave me for someone older that can give you this openly."

He kissed my forehead, when suddenly I heard a whimper. I look up to see that his eyes were black.

"I'm sorry Zoe. I really am." Convel said.

"You and me both." I said running my hand through his hair.

His eyes went back to their natural color and he leaned his face into my neck.

"I promise you I will not go beyond this okay." Austin said while pulling my body up higher so it was easier to get to my neck.

"Okay." I said while wrapping my arms around his neck.

He pulled me closer and closer until i could feel his heart beat as if it was my own. He stood up, turned and laid me on the bed. His body towered over me and he gave me a little smirk that made my cheeks heat up. He leaned down for a kiss but I turned my head. I could hear his raspy laugh which made my body tingle. I bit my lip and looked at him.

"You are so cute when you do that." Austin said.

"Do what?"

"Bite your lip." Austin said while rubbing his thumb on my lips before leaning down for another one.

"Why are you wearing this robe?" Austin asked.

"I um, I'm not naked or anything." I responded.

Austin pulled back the robe and saw that I was wearing the lingerie Grandmother gave me.

" I uh." Austin said wide eyed.

"I'm sorry." I said about to cover myself up.

"You're fine it just I've never seen you like this that's all." Austin said in response.

"What do you mean, you've seen me in nothing but my bra and underwear." I said.

"You just look so innocent and sexy at the same time." He said looking into my eye.

"I'll tell you a secret." I said flipping us over so I was on top.

"What?"

"I think I love you. Oh and when the time comes I want to do some foreplay." I said.

"Wait what did you just say?"

"I think- I know that I love you." I said hugging him.
