We were almost at the hotel, based on what Ross was telling me. A large building that looked very familiar came into sight. I looked at Ross a surprised look on my face. He pretended like he didn't just see my jaw drop to the floor.

"How and why are we going into one of Grandfather's hotels?" I asked as we pulled in to the valet area.

"Let's say your Gramps and I go way back. Plus he knows I care about you and so does he." Ross said holding up my chin so I could look him in the eye.

"I doubt that." I whispered.

"Doubt what?" The young man opening my door for me asked.

"Doubt that your CEO loves his granddaughter as much as he loves this company

"Doubt that your CEO loves his granddaughter as much as he loves this company." I smiled obviously bitter.

"You never know ma'am." The boy said closing the door a little laugh coming out.

"What are you like 18?" I asked. He shook his head yes probably thinking he was in trouble. "I'm 20 so that's  2 years, don't call me ma'am just yet." I joked. The boy chuckled then there was this awkward silence between us.

"Um may I ask you a question?" He said suddenly looking right into my eyes. It made me want to hide in a little corner. His eyes were a nice brown.

"Go ahead." I pulled the suit jacket closer to my body.

"What's your name?"

"Zoe. You?"

"Dean Stan."

"Nice to meet you Dean Stan." I smiled a little bigger and his cheeks went a light shade of pink as he laughed awkwardly. "Nice to meet you too Zoe."

"Zoe stop flirting let's go." Ross whispered on my ear nearly scaring me to death.

"Okay, bye Dean." I waved as I walked away not getting a wave in return I shrugged and turned my body in the direction I was going. I was met with plenty of smiles and 'Good evening's on my way to the elevator.

"You seem to be very popular among the workers." Ross said while we stood waiting for the elevator to hit the top floor.

"I was a wanderer as a child and a talker. Why everyone knows me can range from 5 minute conversations on why I need a dog to help with pre-algebra." I said think back to when I would run across the halls in nothing but my diaper.

The thought of my chubby little legs trying to run was adorable. I remember one time I over heard someone complain about customer service when I was 10 so I but a whole bunch of Hershey's bars with my allowance money and I walked to each door giving people half of a bar saying 'Sorry about the crappy customer service'.

"What are we gonna do about clothes for you?" Ross asked once the elevator stopped mid-way to drop someone off on their floor.

"There are already clothes there, Grandmother is always prepared."
