Chapter 25- Run Zoe Run

"Do they know?" Austin asked holding on to my shoulders.

I haven't shifted since the night I left everything behind. Kind of a one last time before my life went 'back to normal' kind of thing. I've only known Shaun for a few months and he is definitely human so telling him I'm a werewolf is kind of strange.

"God no. It is kind of world shattering."

He pushed my hair behind my ear trailing his finger from my ear to the tips of my hair to my shoulder. I grabbed his hand and placed it in his chest. I shook my head no in disagreement.

"Do you know how long it took for me to say I love you?" I said stepping back.

"Weeks." He responded.

"Exactly, I'm older and hopefully more mature so when I say we are taking it slow that's what we are doing. Got it."

He nodded his head in understanding. I wouldn't just sleep with him the first chance I got. Sexually or romantically. I also missed everyone. Him coming back doesn't just mean I can see him again, it also means I can see Ross, Luna and Val again. I smiled at the thought.

"What?" Austin asked.

"I'll be right back."

I raced towards Shaun's room and knocked on the door. Eliza opened the door hair a mess and lipstick ruined. She seemed to only be wearing her shirt and Shaun's boxers. Seriously, while I was talking to Austin.

"SHAUN! Are you serious I was talking with Austin maybe 20 minutes and I didn't even hear anything." I exclaimed.

"I can be very quiet when I need to be." She smiled evilly.

"I'll remember that next time I need an assassin."

Finally Shaun walked up to the doorway with his hair also a mess and lipstick all over his face. I began swatting both of their arms like an angry mother.

"For the love of god you guys fuck like rabbits! Stop doing it while I'm in the house it's weird!" I said while hear continuous "ouch"s and "ow"s.

"Okay. Okay. What do you need?"  Shaun asked.

"I'm going to go to Austin's place to-" I started.

"NOOOO!" They screamed in unison.

Eliza pulled me in and sat me in their bed. Remembering what just happened I shuddered and sat at their computer desk. Eliza put her hands on her small petite hips and eyed me angrily. Shaun stood to the side arms crossed amused by his highly expressive girlfriend.

"What is wrong with you? If you go to his house your going to forgive him and sleep with him. I mean with a face and body like that who wouldn't ,am I right?" Eliza said elbowing Shaun playfully.

He scowled at her clearly not actually mad at her.

"We've never actually done anything?"

"What do you mean?"

"He hasn't ya know 'hit the home run'." I whispered the analogy knowing Austin could clearly hear us even without the super hearing. Man I hate these then walls.

"Wait why?" Shaun asked.

"I was underage when we met. A part of me knew it was wrong even if the other part knew it would feel so right when I did."

I kind of missed Alidia . She didn't talk much before but her little comments got me through the day. Now the only voice in my head was mine and the made me feel worse then when I thought about Austin moving on.

"So your less likely to give yourself up good. Why are you going?"

"My friends are going to be there. The ones I haven't seen in four years." I looked down tapping my feet in the rhythm of a Panic! At the Disco song.

"Ah nope stop your tapping because that's how you zone out." Shaun said lightly putting his feet on top of mine.

"So, Madre y padre can I go to my boyfriends house?" I said making an effort to sound like a teenage girl.

"Yes sweethart." Eliza said using a southern accent.

"Now no sleepin' over I want your butt her by at least 1:00. Deal?" Shaun held his hand out.

I shook it and waited for him to move his foot before I walked over to the door and gave my friends a salute. I walked out and quietly closed the door as if I was a teenager sneaking out their room--- for some midnight snacks.

I walked over to the living room to see Austin sitting down with his head being held up by his hands. Once he noticed I walked in he popped up and smiled. I walked past him and got my keys. Before I could even pick them up his hand was on top of mine. I slightly turned my head so I could see some of his face.

"Heh sorry-" he started slowly removing his hand from mine " I just thought maybe we could go for a little run." He said his eyes turning a few shades darker.

"Good to see you horn dog." I smiled.

"You too Dragoste." Convel said grazing his hands on my shoulders.

I don't think I can 'run'. My body felt too weak from not exercising my ability to become a wolf. I would probably look like one of those dogs that haven't eaten in awhile from the animal glo up videos.

"I don't think I can." I whispered.

"Kiss me."

"No." I turned around towards him.

"Do you want to run or not?" He asked.

Something was yearning in his voice.

"Yeah but-"

He pressed his lips against mine quickly and bit my lip. He whispered something I couldn't hear into my mouth. He pulled away with his eyes now pitch black. I felt my lip where he bit me and there was little bump.

"What the hell Convel?!" I exclaimed truly angry.

'Hey sweetie.' Alidia said suddenly.

Convel smirked as if he could hear inside my head. God I hope not.
