It’s been two days and I already leveled up to level 15. I mastered Pursuit, and Detection. I’ve been trying to master Sprint lately but I find it very tiring. I never talked to Regie ever since. I was walking at the city when people started murmuring.
“Is that the one who cleared the Floor One Dungeon?”
“Where’s his Partner?”
“Did they break their partnership?”
“Damn. They’re very good Partners.”
“Their Switch and Attack techniques are just perfect. Why breakup?”
I just kept on walking since I don’t usually listen to other people’s conversations. As I was approaching the Plaza Center, I noticed a group of my classmates. I put on my WebCloak and sneaked in.
“Ferdinand found the Floor 2 Dungeon. We shall disperse it to the others.” Says Celine, pointing at a map.
“But… how will we contact them?” asked Maricris.
“We will send it by-----“ Celine trails off and looks at my direction. “Who’s there?!” she shouted. “I can hear you breathing!” she shouted.
She walked at my direction and I held my breath. She passed by me and I sighed. Just then, she takes off my cloak and held her sword on my neck. My eyes widened and so are hers too.
“GEN?!” she was shocked.
“Bes?!” reacted Ace.
All of the people are now looking at our direction.
“Hi.” I greeted. I went to grab my WebCloak but it exploded to Polygonal shards.
“Im sorry.” Says Celine.
“It’s okay.” I said, smiling.
“We’re planning for the next floor.” She said.
“As I heard.” I replied, smiling.
We went back to the place where the meeting was.
“Some people ignore the skill of listening since it’s not much use in battle, but I do mastered it since It’s very useful.” I said.
“I did too.” Says Celine.
“Why?” asked Lovely.
“You may get killed if you don’t listen to surroundings. Sometimes creatures, sometimes Players.” I replied.
“Players?” asked Lianne.
“Red Players. Players who murder and Kill.” Says Celine.
I looked at her and noticed that she’s hiding her Level.
“Wait a little.” I said and stood up and went to a place behind a tree.
I searched for Celine’s name on my list and sent her a PM. “Are you a Beta Tester too? You didn’t told us. ~ Gen”
I looked at the plaza and noticed that she used her tracking eyes and looked towards my direction. I noticed her screen pop up and it’s my message.
“I am. You’re the only one who knows. Lovely, Lianne and Maricris suffered on the hands of a beta tester so I rescued them. Ever since we got out of Floor one, many beta testers have come to the front lines. I won’t let them know because Im afraid that they’ll venture on their own. Im afraid that they might get killed. I just met Ace this morning, by the way.”
I turned off the menu and went back with a smile. I noticed Celine had sweat on her face. She wiped it when I pointed at it. She forced a smile and I noticed Lianne, Lovely, Maricris and Ace looking at each other.
“Okay guys. Here’s the Plan.” I opened my Map and looked at Celine.
I think she knows what I mean.
