Urbus City

November 29, 2050

Everybody celebrated about clearing the first floor. Urbus City was suddenly filled with people. The NPCs got very busy; selling things here, buying items from the players and giving quests. Regie and I kept practicing on a nearby plain so we kept improving on using the switch.

“Switch!” I shouted.

Regie ran forwards and raised his sword. He prepared for the attack and delivered a Vertical at a Dark Elf. It parried his attack and tried to cast a spell.

“Regie!” I shouted.

“Switch!” he shouted.

I ran forward and blocked the spell with my body. I ricocheted backwards while Regie darted out of the way. I landed with my back.

“UGGHHF.”

Regie pulled out his sword and went to deliver a vertical arc at the Dark Elf. It exploded into shards. Regie helped me up and laughed.

“That was pathetic.” He says, laughing.

“UGGGGH. Stop it. It’s not funny.” I said.

“It was!” he can’t stop laughing.

“At least I came to block. You would’ve been dead.” I said.

“Now you’re the one that’s near to death.” He says, pointing at my HP bar.

I opened my inventory, taking my potion, and drinking it. My HP is not on the dangerous level now.

“Im out of Potions. Let’s go Grab Some.” I said.

“Okay! “ says Regie, smiling, which means he’s in for another treat.

We reached the town plaza and went to buy potions. We then ate at a local inn. We sat on the table and we are taken aback by the sudden events.

“Hello. May your teachers take a seat?” asked our Trigonometry teacher.

“Oh sure, sir.” I said.

“Thanks, Gen.” says our English Teacher.

“What are you doing here?” Regie asked.

“We played the game too. We are curious on why students are addicted to these games.” Says our Physics Teacher.

“It’s for our Thesis.” Says our Economics teacher.

“Now we’re trapped inside this bloody game. Dammit, Len.” Says our MAPEH teacher.

“It wasn’t my fault.” Says our English Teacher.

“It’s your fault. Damn you and your goddamned thesis.” Says our MAPEH teacher.

“Hey!” says our English teacher, standing. “Let’s just break this party. It just doesn’t work anymore. Plus, it gives more EXP if I’m alone.”

She breaks the party, and left. Regie and I looked at each other. The other teachers left and never did finish their meal. Regie and I, being out of Corr,  just resolved on eating the uneaten food ordered by our teachers. It was heaven. Our teachers have a very good taste at food too.

We left and went back to the plains. Just as we are walking, we are ambushed by a pack of wolves. The first wolf attacked Regie and he failed to parry it.

“Dammit! I need support!” He shouted at me.

“Damn you!” I shouted back.

I slashed the opposing wolf and gave a vertical to the other.  Regie was being peppered by three wolves. His HP continued depleting as he forcefully slashed his sword.

“AHH!” Regie’s eyes were scratched by a wolf. “Dammit!” He closed his eyes and clutched it, dropping his sword.

Out of adrenaline rush, I ran forward and gave the wolves an Uppercut. Soon enough, they exploded into shards.

A big CONGRATULATIONS! beamed up. LEVEL UP! Level 7 – 8 followed after.

“You leveled up faster than I?” he asked impishly.

“Sorry.” I said.

“I quit.” He said, picking up his sword.

“What?” I asked.

“I nearly died!” he scrolled through his inventory and drank a potion.

“At least I came.” I replied.

“Let’s break the Party. This isn’t working.”

“FINE THEN!” I said, opening my Party Menu and Dissolving the Party.

I went through my inventory and wore the WebCloak. I knew I vanished and went to the next town.
