Chapter Fourteen

We trained hard these past few days. Everything was so hectic. We’re truly grateful that we have cleared the 50th floor boss. We may have lost many members but we still have about 400 people fighting in the lead group. For this week, we are training for the Floor 56 Boss. We went to the plaza to have a meeting about it.
“I remember the First meeting we had on floor one.” I said and Celine and Ace nodded.
“We’re very weak back then.” Says Ace, smiling.
“You’re still weak until now.” I said, laughing a little.
His ears got red and so is his face. Celine smiled as the officials for the Attack goes to the raised platform. But then, I realized, the one who is leading the attack group are my classmates. It’s Peter’s Party: Christian, William, Jeo and Jhun Jun. They are all wearing red-colored breast plates, yellow colored Axes and Blue colored Cloaks.
“Good Morning Everyone! My party and I found the Floor Boss. But we don’t know who the boss is so we are planning here to form the Attack Squads.” Says Peter.
“Wait!” Shouted a Player. “What do we do then? What if it’s not for our capacity?”
“Let’s start the meeting with that question. Low-leveled players that joins this squad shall be “supports” and only follows the Party Leader’s orders. No one is to disobey the leader and they shall face death on the hands of the boss. Switch if your PL says to. Retreat if you have Low HP.” Says Jhun.
“Okay!” says Peter. “You there!” he points at a party. “You will be the Dexterity Squad. With your Great Speed, you’ll be best to distract it while we execute the Sneak Attacks.”
The party lines up at the front.
“You people!”Jeo points at Red and Maricris’s party. “Your Party will be tanks. Be sure to stock much repots.”
“Hey Gen.” Whispers Ace.
“What?” I asked.
“What’s Repots, Tanks and Supports?”
“Repots means healing Items. Potions and Breads. Tanks are people with High HP that can be great help at the boss. The Boss hits them and they just do nothing. They just take repots. Supports are people who help the Hitters in defeating the boss. Either they switch and retreat or they distract the boss.” I replied.
“ooh.”
Peter has already completed the squad and we the Sneak Group, when a man rushes in to the plaza.
“HELP!” shouts a Man. “Help! The Boss! I’ve seen it! Please help me!!!” pleaded the man.
“Calm Down, Dude.” Says Christian.
“Calm Down?! It killed my Party! My members! I don’t know what to do!” he replied with great alarm in his eyes.
“What’s the monster like?” asked Peter.
“Defense type! We tried everything! Pierce, thrust and Impale attacks won’t do!”
Peter looked like he was stricken with great grief. All of us became quiet when he revealed that the boss was defense type.
“Name of Monster?” asked William.
“The GeoCrawler.” Said the man, running to a cliff nearby and jumps. Pieces of Polygonal Shards are seen after the jump.
