Chapter Twenty One

Floor 55-Grandzam

Bladefist Guild Home Base

March 31, 2052

3:00 PM

”As of today, about 500 people committed suicide after the GM announcement. I have called all of you today so we can form our plan to clear floor 75 boss.” Says Regie as his voice echoes across the hall which contains about 1000 Players from the front lines, including the 571 players from the Bladefist guild.

Regie is at the center of raised platform along with the other guild Leaders. Even Juvielyn and Ervien agreed to come to the meeting. The Red Dagger Hitters (which other players still don’t know about) are there too. I can see Maricris and Red in the raised platform too. Celine and Ace are beside Regie, trying to look neutral but I can see fear in their faces since it will be a sudden floor clearing without even a concrete plan on who takes who.

“I’ve sent a thirty-member party to clear the floor 75 dungeon and find the boss room.” Says Regie.  “We’ll wait for the updates of the search.”

Everyone lied down on the floor and had their conversations. I awkwardly sat in the corner of the room since Celine and Ace are talking to other Commanders of other guilds. Red approached me. I raised my sword.

“I know that this is a safe zone but I will stab you with this if anything goes wrong.” I greeted him with a glare.

“Chill.” He says. “I have something to tell you.”

“What is it?”

“I am considering you to be a part of my guild.”

“A guild of the murderers? Hell no, Dude.”

“We are offering you 150,000,000 corr if you do.”

“WHAT?!”

My reaction seems to draw everyone’s attention towards us.

“What is happening here?” Regie approached us.

“I was just inviting Gen to join our guild.” Red replied with a smug on his face.

“Your offer?” asked Regie.

“150,000,000 Corr only.”

“ONLY?!” shouted a Player from the crowd. “I’d do anything for 150,000,000 corr!”

“Shut Up!” shouted Regie at the player. “150,000,000 corr, eh?” Regie looks at me.

“200,000,000 Corr Plus Upgraded Bladefist Swordsman Suit. Join us.” Offered Regie.

“Uh… Uh…”

I stuttered since I haven’t been offered by that much.

“I’ll give you a personal house.” Offered Red.

“I’ll give you a personal tank player to help you level up.” Says Regie.

“Settled then.” I said, and nodded to Regie.

“Welcome to the Bladefist Guild.” Says Regie as he smiled and shook hands with me. “Good to see you again, bes.”

“Me too.” I greeted.

Just then, Regie received a message.

“HELP! Commander! Help! We found the Boss Room! My party is currently dying! We can’t use a crystal!”

Regie received the Map Data until the messenger collapsed and the sender from Regie’s List vanished.

“Come on, Front Liners. We’ve got a boss to beat.” Says Regie as he held his Teleportation Crystal and teleported the thousand players in the room.
