The next day arrived like no other.

The first few lessons that I had was extremely boring. Fortunately I had PE the next lesson. However, I was suffering with period cramps which prevented me from participating.

I spoke to my teacher about it and she eventually excused me. I decided to use that opportunity to sketch or draw something while my other classmates ran around the field like lost chickens.

On my journey towards the end of the field, I thought about what I was going to sketch, it was a routine of mine every day after school but recently I was slacking. I would go to the field to sit down and sketch since I always had tons of inspiration.

I finally reached my favorite spot in the field, I sat down and placed my backpack next to me, I took out my sketchbook and my pencil.

I looked around the scenery to see what I could sketch and I saw a row of trees that were situated close to the entrance of the soccer field. What made me want to sketch the row of trees was the height difference. The trees started from the tallest to the shortest, weirdly enough I found it interesting.

I kept looking towards the trees since I needed to get the height of the trees on point. As I was looking at the trees a butterfly flew close to my face, I tried to shoo it away but it kept flying back to my face. I didn't attempt to shoo the butterfly away it instead flew closer to my face and landed on my nose.

It was such a weird feeling but I somewhat found it interesting. I completely stopped sketching and my main focus was on the butterfly. As I continued to focus on the butterfly I saw a random finger being placed in front of my nose.

I slowly tilted my head backward and realized that the butterfly was seated on a random finger. I turned to look up at the random person in front of me and I realized who they were.

He looked extremely tall at that particular angle. I somewhat felt tiny in his presence. He brought his finger close to his face and admired the butterfly.

His eyes slowly diverted to mine. "Why are you not participating?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I have period cramps. I spoke to my teacher about it, so she excused me." I responded.

Without saying a word his attention was back on the butterfly. I awkwardly sat upright and continued with my sketch.

"I'm Yeonjun." He introduced himself. I awkwardly smiled, and I fixed my gaze on the sketchbook.

"I like your sketch." He complimented. I looked up at him and thanked him with a smile, the butterfly flew off his finger, and he then sat down next to me. He looked at my drawing and figured out what I was sketching, he looked at the direction of the trees and looked back at my sketch.

"What's your name?" He asked, at first I was hesitant since he looked intimidating and the fact that he was my crush.

He realized that I was hesitant and he just smiled, "You don't have to if you don't want to. Perhaps tell me your nickname?" He insisted that I felt more comfortable telling him my nickname but I then imagined him asking people about me just by referring to my nickname since I was well-known for my basketball skills.

"My name is Ara," I answered that was the first time I had spoken to him.

"I like your name, it's cute." He complimented me, and I heard someone yell out his name. He looked forward and I did the same.

"Yeonjun! Come back here! You can flirt with her after the lesson!" His classmate yelled at him. He chuckled and turned to me, "I'll see you around."

He got up and walked towards the groups of boys. I fell backward and kicked my legs vigorously up in the air which I eventually dropped back down on the ground.

"He's so cute up close." I blurted out loud as a smile grew on my face.
