As I stepped through the school's grand entrance the following day, my ears were instantly bombarded with the excited chatter of my fellow students.

It didn't take me long to figure out what they were discussing. The party last night. Whispers and rumors filled the air, and the stories were as diverse as they were dramatic.

I couldn't help but be curious, even a bit worried. The party had been a big deal. As I navigated through the bustling hallways, I spotted my best friend, Yeji, from afar. She was engaged in an animated conversation with Hyunjin, a guy I knew from my chemistry class. Yeji had that way of gesturing wildly when she talked, so I knew it had to be a gripping story.

I quickened my pace and joined them. "Hey, what's all the buzz about?" I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me.

Yeji turned to me, her eyes wide with excitement. "Ara, you won't believe what went down at the party last night! There was a brawl, and it got intense. Someone even got stabbed!"

My heart skipped a beat. I hadn't expected things to escalate to that level. "Stabbed? Are they okay?" I asked, trying to sound casual despite my rising concern.

Yeji shook her head, her expression grave. "I don't know all the details, but it was pretty chaotic. The person was taken to the hospital. Things got out of hand."

I bit my lip, worried for the injured person and regretting not being there to prevent such a disaster. "Do you know if Hoshi and Yeonjun are okay? I haven't seen them around."

Yeji glanced around, her brow furrowing in thought. "I haven't seen them either. We should check up on them later."

As the morning progressed, I kept my eyes peeled for any sign of Hoshi and Yeonjun, my anxiety growing with each passing minute. I wanted to know they were safe, that nothing had happened to them.

But then, as I turned a corner, I came face to face with Hoshi's ex-girlfriend, Hana. She stood there, her expression blank, and her eyes bore into me with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. We'd never been close, and seeing her now, especially with all the chaos surrounding the party, left me feeling both concerned and fearful of what might happen if I had an encounter with her.

I couldn't help but wonder if Hana had something to do with the incident at the party. My heart raced, and I knew that whatever had happened the previous night had far-reaching consequences that were just beginning to unfold.
