The day went by rather quickly.
The last class I had for the day was English. My English teacher had completely forgotten that she had given us homework.
Most of us, including me, were relieved since we didn't do it. My excuse would've been that I had forgotten about it, but she still would've given me detention.
As the lesson progressed, I couldn't help but turn to look at Hoshi, but what made it less obvious that I wanted to look at him was Yeji trying to get my attention by waving her hand.
Yeji sat in front of Hoshi, so when I looked at her, I first glanced at him and then at her. He was already staring at me as soon as I did that.
Yeji noticed how red my face became. She turned to look at Hoshi and finally put the pieces together. She pointed at him with a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes and showed her my middle finger. She giggled.
I turned around to face the teacher. In my head, I was planning on how to murder Yeji. Why did she make it so obvious that Hoshi was the reason why I blushed so hard? Either way, I still wanted to murder her.
My teacher had to leave the class for a few minutes to assist another teacher with an issue they were experiencing. The class erupted into chatter.
I sat at my desk in silence before it was disturbed by a familiar yet annoying voice.
"So? Hoshi is your new man, huh?"
I smacked Yeji's arm. She held her arm but ended up giggling once again.
"I'm just kidding. But please be honest, did he make you blush?" She asked.
I nodded in approval. She clapped her hands in excitement. She insisted that I should appoint her as the pastor at my wedding with Hoshi.
I assured her that there wouldn't be any wedding and she shouldn't be delusional. Despite shutting down her delusions, she still insisted that we would make a good couple.
Was she right, though?

Yeji decided to walk home with me. We lived in the same neighborhood so it was convenient for us to walk together.
"I like your hairstyle. No wonder the guys were drooling over you today."
I stopped walking and just stared at her. "Firstly, thank you. Secondly, what?"
"You didn't hear the rumors going around? Guys were talking about you today. They kept saying that you looked really attractive."
I didn't know how to respond but to smile. Yeji leaned forward and grabbed my arm. She hooked her left arm around my right arm as if we were a married couple and we both proceeded to walk.
"Oh and by the way, there's going to be a party at Hoshi's house tomorrow night."
"What's so special about tomorrow?" I asked sarcastically.
"It's a public holiday, dummy. There's no school tomorrow."
"But what about Wednesday? What if I'll experience a hangover?" I asked.
"Then don't go to school, it's just that simple." She retorted.
I couldn't help but laugh at how logical she was. She was right. If I did hit a slump I could've pretended that I was sick.
The walk home was great. Nothing happened to us along the way. Yeji lived three houses away from me. I insisted on walking her to her house before I finally headed to my house.
I watched her walk towards the front door until I eventually walked to my house. I needed to come up with a plan on how to tell my parents that I was going to a party.
However, another option I had was to sneak out. Will I take the risk?
