The dim light of my room offered me sanctuary as I lay there, listening to the distant sounds of laughter and music, each note a siren's call. The party. The one I wasn't supposed to attend. But rules, like walls, were made to be broken, especially when your heart is the one calling the shots.
My parents' voices echoed in my head, warning me about the dangers of late-night gatherings and the importance of staying focused on my studies. I understood their concerns, but tonight, I couldn't resist the magnetic pull of the event. One name had drawn me into the shadows of the night: Hoshi.
Hoshi was the guy I'd secretly had a crush on during my years at elementary school. He was the kind of boy who could light up a room with his presence. His dark wavy hair and dark brown eyes were a lethal combination. I'd watched him from afar, daydreaming about moments like this, where we would finally be in the same room, free from prying eyes and parental restrictions.
Tonight was my chance. With a quiet sigh, I carefully slid out of bed, the floorboards creaking under my tentative footsteps. Sunghoon's snores were the only comforting sound in the silent house.
Stealing a glance at my reflection in the mirror, I adjusted my outfit, hoping it would make me look more mature, more alluring. The backyard party was in full swing, and the music thudded like a heartbeat, urging me closer.
The moonlit path was my guide as I made my way toward the forbidden gathering. The cool night air caressed my skin, and the thrill of rebellion quickened my pulse. I knew the risk, but I couldn't deny the excitement bubbling inside me.
I arrived at the party at Hoshi's house, feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves. The room was already bustling with people, and the vibrant chatter and laughter filled the air. My eyes scanned the room until they landed on Hoshi, who was chatting animatedly with a group of friends.
Approaching him, I greeted him with a smile. "Hey, Hoshi! Nice party you've got going on here."
Hoshi's face lit up as he turned to me. "Ara! I'm so glad you could make it." He had a warmth in his eyes that immediately put me at ease.
As the night went on, Hoshi's friendly behavior became even more noticeable. He seemed genuinely interested in our conversation and kept the drinks coming. With a mischievous smile, he leaned in closer and said, "Ara, would you like a drink? I make a mean cocktail."
I hesitated for a moment but couldn't resist his charm. "Sure, why not? Surprise me."
We continued talking about our expectations for the party. Hoshi was a gracious host, and his enthusiasm was infectious. I couldn't help but be drawn into his magnetic personality.
Then, in a daring move, Hoshi attempted to wrap his arms around my shoulders. I was left momentarily speechless but felt a rush of excitement bubbling beneath the surface. Hoshi's behavior was intriguing, and while I couldn't quite comprehend it, I wasn't alarmed by it either.
Hoshi leaned in closer, his voice low and intimate. "Ara, you're something special. I'm glad you came tonight."
I managed a soft chuckle. "You're quite the charmer, Hoshi."
With a sly grin, he whispered, "Well, there's more to see. Care to follow me?"
My heart skipped a beat as Hoshi asked me to follow him to his bedroom. "Sure," I replied, my curiosity piqued.
As we made our way through the lively party, I couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store for us.
