We met up with Hoshi in the front yard of his house.

We walked inside the house, and I took a quick scan. "What lovely interior." I thought to myself.

Hoshi gave us a mini house tour. As we walked from room to room, I was fascinated by the interior and the furniture. I noticed that Hoshi had a bookshelf in his room that was filled with books.

"He's a reader as well. Interesting."

We walked back downstairs. Hyunjin told me that he wanted to speak to his parents for a moment. I kindly agreed. All of a sudden, I was approached by my parents, including Hoshi's.

"You two seem to know each other." His mother said with a small smile on her face.

"We have some classes together but we hardly talk," Hoshi stated as he looked down at me with a smile.

I awkwardly smiled back and looked back at the adults.

"Why don't you two get to know each other? You two will eventually get comfortable with each other." Hoshi's mother insisted.

We both looked at each other before he agreed. He told me to follow him upstairs to his bedroom. We walked in silence.

We entered his bedroom. Once again, I looked around before I sat down on the bed. We didn't say a word to each other at first. It was weird at first, but I wasn't bothered by it.

"Well, Hello Ara." He finally greeted me.

A chuckle escaped my lips. "At least you have manners." I teased.

A smirk appeared on his face. "Of course, I don't like being a rude person."

He eventually sat down next to me. There was an awkward silence at first before one of us grew and developed the courage to speak up.

"Did you end up finishing up your English homework?" He asked.

My jaw dropped. I had completely forgotten about my English homework. Hoshi ended up bursting into laughter.

"Do you know why I asked you?"

"No?" I responded.

"I also didn't do it. At least someone is going down with me."

I chuckled. I was going to get into trouble with Hoshi and possibly other students as well. We spoke about what we planned on finding after high school.

Hoshi wanted to be a psychologist. That career suited him. He's really intelligent as well.

"What type of psychologist do you want to be?" I asked.

"Clinical."

I was highly impressed. I admired how much he wanted to be a clinical psychologist.

"I guess he's not that creepy after all." I thought to myself.

We stayed in his room for a while. I knew that our parents were going to get suspicious. I insisted that we should head back downstairs. He also agreed.

We reached downstairs only to see our parents engage in a lively conversation. I didn't know whether to sit with my parents or I should just stand and watch them.

After some time, they all were alarmed by our presence. My mother asked if I wanted to head back home, but for some reason, I said no.

Probably it was because I still wanted to be around Hoshi. Either way, I wasn't ready to go home.

"Eomma? Can I please spend more time with Ara? I enjoy her company."

My eyes widened in horror and shock. I didn't expect those words to come out of his mouth. His mother agreed. He then told me to follow him outside to the backyard.

I noticed some kids running around and seemingly having a good time. We approached a bench and sat down.

I saw Hyunjin walk in our direction, holding something in his hand. Before he could say anything to me, he gave Hoshi a look. I couldn't comprehend the meaning of the look.

"I brought you a Mochi." Hyunjin finally turned his attention to me.

"Thank you, you're such a blessing." I thanked him.

"After you tried to kill me." He mumbled under his breath.

"What the hell did you say?" I asked as I got up from the bench.

"Yeah, nothing."

"He said after you tried to kill him," Hoshi spoke up.

Hyunjin gave Hoshi an annoying look. Hoshi smirked as a response.

I tried to slap Hyunjin, but he quickly ran off. I rolled my eyes and sat right back down.

"You're so violent."

A chuckle escaped my lips. "No, I'm not. I just get annoyed easily." I said as I took a bite of the mochi.

"So if I told you that I like you, you're going to get annoyed and hit me?"

I spat out the mochi and coughed violently before I finally calmed down. I turned to look at him with a concerned yet shocked look on my face.

"You what?"

"I just made an example, silly."

I sighed in relief before I took another bite of the mochi.

Or was it the slight truth?
