In the quiet glow of a college town, Hoshi and Ara found themselves three years after high school graduation.

Juggling lectures, exams, and late-night study sessions, they discovered a new rhythm in their lives. Ara, with a joyful spark in her eyes, embraced the challenges of both academia and motherhood.

Their two-year-old bundle of joy brought laughter and warmth to their small apartment. Despite the sleepless nights and hectic schedules, Hoshi and Ara navigated parenthood hand in hand.

The once tentative connection between them had deepened into a resilient bond, and Ara found a profound happiness in the shared journey with Hoshi.

As they pursued their dreams in college, the challenges they faced only strengthened their commitment to each other and their little child.

In the quiet moments, Hoshi and Ara discovered that true happiness was not just a destination but a continuous journey they embarked upon together.

One day came around, Ara decided to go to the grocery store to buy some groceries that she and Hoshi needed. They both had enough money to sustain their little family even at times when they didn't need to stock up.

As Ara navigated the bakery section, she felt a sudden tap on her shoulder. She turned around only to reveal a person she least expected to see.

"Yeonjun?"

A smile appeared on his face as she knew it was him. He had grown and matured so well. Although Hoshi had the title of being the most flamboyant guy she met but Yeonjun took the title immediately.

"How have you been?" Ara asked as she pulled him in for a tight hug.

"I've been good. I've been working on my music and college as well."

They briefly spoke about how their loves changed after high school. They both learned so much about each other, especially Yeonjun, as Ara further explained that she was a mother.

"I'm pretty sure that you are a great mother. Baby boy?"

She nodded as she beamed with pride plastered all over her face.

"What's his name?"

"Mateo."

Yeonjun's jaw dropped. "When I have a child, if it's a girl, I would allow her to date your son."

Ara laughed, which made Yeonjun laugh as well. "Why?"

"Guys with that name tend to be really attractive."

He was right. They had a brief conversation before Yeonjun pointed out that he had to rush back home. He gave Ara one final hug before disappearing between one of the isles.

Ara felt a sense of closure. She was glad that she had to speak to Yeonjun despite her finally moving on from her buried feelings.

She could finally focus on the two people who brought her happiness, Hoshi and her baby boy, Mateo.

author's note:

I am honestly sad that this book eventually had to come to an end. it was interesting writing this book. although it has the love triangle trope, I didn't want to make it cliché which is why I didn't make the two male characters compete against each other. but instead the female oc has to make a decision without feeling overwhelmed and pressured.

thank u for reading my book. I really hope u enjoyed it! stick around for my next book, it is going to be a bts ff. it has been a while since I wrote a bts ff.

I hope u find me again! much love!
