She told me the address of her apartment. Good thing her apartment wasn't that far from the diner.

When we finally got to her place, she let go and climbed out of the bike and I did the same.

"Shall I wait for you here outside, or at the diner?" I asked.

"It's up to you. I was just going to change clothes, but I think it's better if you come with me," she said while playing with her bag. I replied with another firm okay. Then we turned towards the building.

When we got in, we were greeted by a lot of people.

Different expressions of different people could be seen. We went directly to the elevator to avoid commotion.

We didn't talk in the elevator. Audrey was just looking up at the rising elevator numbers, while I was just looking down.

When we finally heard 'ding', we both went out. I just followed her.

Later, she finally stopped in front of a door. She then put out her keys, and unlocked the door. I let her in first and just waited for a signal.

She went out once again and said, "You can go in, James." She giggled and went in. I just chuckled and face palmed.

When I got in, I couldn't believe how organized her place is. It's simple but fascinating. It suited for her perfectly.

"James, darling. Will you come here for a moment," she said from her room.

I walked towards her room, and found her trying to reach something on the top of the closet.

"I hate to bother you, but could you grab that pink colored box, please."

I thought she looked funny and adorable at the same time. I reached out for the pink box and grabbed it. I then gave it to her, and smiled at her.

"You really are a superhero."

I can't help but laughed out loud. Then she suddenly laughed loudly, too.
We both wiped away the tear from our eyes, and we finally sighed.

"I've never laughed like that in a long time now," she said.

"Me too. Thank you for that," I said.

She looked up at me and smiled. I felt giddy, again. I can't believe the reason for her sweet smile is me. I just smiled back, and went back to her living room.

While I was picking up random things, I saw a pile of pictures on the floor. I picked up all of it then sat down on the couch.

The first picture was Audrey; it looked like she was jumping in this picture. This is the playful Audrey I'm seeing, the one I like the most. The next pictures were still her, but I'm still not tired of looking at her face.

While I was looking at the remaining pictures, I heard her voice call my name.

I looked up, and saw her just standing in front of me with so much poise. I was just paralyzed by her beauty. She looked lovelier than ever. She was wearing a pink sleeveless collared dress that goes a little above her knees with white pointed doll shoes.

She looks stunning. My jaws just dropped. She laughed softly and said, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," stuttered.

She is the definition of beauty. I quickly stood up, and walked towards her. I could tell she was pretty surprised.

"You look beautiful," I said honestly.

I then took her hand, and gently kissed it. She just looked away, and blushed.

"You know, that wasn't really necessary," she said.

"Well it should be necessary." I smirked.

She playfully slapped my right arm once more. We headed towards the door, and I let her out first.

Unlike a while ago when we weren't talking, now we're just joking around. Afterwards, we finally took off to the diner.

When we reached at our destination, all eyes were on us. It's already normal for the both of us though.

We strolled towards the diner hand in hand. When we got there, we both ordered and started finding a table. Good thing there weren't a lot of people in here.

We picked the farthest table, which is closest to the window then we both sat down.

"So, how's your movie going?" I asked.

"It's doing pretty well. We'll be going to Paris next month for the next scenes," she sadly said.

I wonder why she seems dull when she mentioned it.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. I'm just tired that's all, but I've always wanted to go to Paris."

"So, it's a good thing then," I happily said.

She then laughed softly and said, "I guess so, but I wanted to go to Paris with the one I love."

My body tensed, and my inner self just made his shocked face. Maybe she already has a man. Crap.

"Maybe your man can go with you." It may hurt to say, but I don't have a choice.

"I don't have a man, darling," she said, trying to avoid giggling.

My happiness meter just exploded. I still have a chance of winning her. My inner self just put out his plan folder, and started making equations on how to get Audrey.

"Why? You're beautiful, your kind and sweet," I said honestly. She smiled, and looked away.

"Well, there were a couple of guys who tried to woo me, but I just don't feel comfortable with them. I want to be with somebody who I can laugh with, I can crack a joke with, and be lazy with," she said while grinning.

'You could be that guy' my conscience said.

"I see. You're different; usually girls these days only wanted a guy who will give flowers, and diamonds or wanted the guy to be a gentleman to them. Your choice of a guy is better," I said.

She giggled, and said, "Thank you, James." I felt giddy, again. Then our food came. We started eating, and talked about random stuffs.

"Hey James," Audrey said.

"Yes?"

"What is the longest word in the English language?" She asked.

"Um. Sorry I don't know."

'You can't even help her'. my conscience pointed out. Damn it.

"Do you want to know?" she said, grinning.

"Yeah. What's the answer?"

"The answer is Smiles, because there is a mile between its first and last letters. Get it?" She laughed hysterically, and I can't help but laugh too.

The costumers were all staring at us. Wait just a second, she joked. She cracked a joke! I remembered what she said a while ago about what she wanted in a guy, and it's one of the traits!

My inner self was now running at a flower garden, in slow motion.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." She wiped a tear from her eye. "That was inappropriate," she added.

"It's fine. That was a pretty good joke," I said, honestly.

She then looked down, and blushed.

Afterwards, we finally got out of the diner, and climbed in my motorcycle. Then we finally took off.
