"Do you know the movie called Sabrina?" I asked.
"Why, yes darling."
I remembered I was with Terry Moore in the premiere night of the movie. The movie was marvelous, that was one of the greatest I've ever watched, but something tells me that I'm forgetting something. I forgot the actors and of course the main actress, who had my eyes all throughout the movie.
"That movie was amazing. Anyways, have you watched it?" I said.
She chuckled and said, "Too many times."
"Oh. Do you know the actress who played the main character?"
"Who? Sabrina?" I nodded.
"You're talking to her already," she simply stated. My mind was blown. I just stared at her, surprised. I knew it! That was her. Damn it, I'm such an idiot.
"Are you serious?" I said.
She simply grinned and said, "Of course I am. I was with Humphrey Bogart and William Holden in that movie."
She was effortlessly beautiful in that movie and clever at the same time. Does that mean I'm already attracted to her back then?
"This feels so weird. All this time I was with the lady, whom I was attracted to, that night," I said, dumbly.
"You came to the premiere night?" she squealed.
"Uh-huh. I was with Terry Moore," I said.
"How come I did not saw you that night?" she said.
"I absolutely have no idea, and I did not see you too."
Then there was silence, all we're hearing right now is the radio. Both of us were still gathering our thoughts.
"You're attracted to Sabrina?" she asked, breaking the silence.
"Yes. Not only because of her physical features, but her personality too."
She giggled and said, "I still can't get over about the whole thing."
"Me too." I checked my watch and it was already 12 noon.
"Are you hungry?" I added.
She nodded. My stomach suddenly rumbled.
"It's already obvious that you're hungry too," she said.
We laughed out loud. The place was isolated, so I'm kind of having a hard time finding a diner.
"Look over there! There's a diner close to the gas station." She pointed at the window. I quickly turned the wheel of my car going to the gas station, which made Audrey stumble on her seat.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
She nodded and fixed her hair. I closed the engine then we got out of the car and made our way to the diner.
There were only few people found in the diner, which is a good thing.
I and Audrey have been standing here for about five minutes now, just waiting for this damn cashier man. I think he didn't recognize us. He was just sitting lazily on his chair while reading the newspaper.
"Um. Excuse me, sir?" I said for the 4th time.
He looked up at us, and his eyes widened. He stood up from his chair and quickly grabbed a notebook and a pen.
"My apologies, Mr. Dean and Ms. Hepburn. I didn't recognize you," he sheepishly said.
'Oh really? We've been standing here for 5 minutes!' I internally shouted.
