We're just here waiting for the man to give us the damn key to our room yet he wouldn't stop freaking out.
We've been in front of this receptionist for about 10 minutes now.
I was already getting impatient, but Audrey just kept on giving me a reassuring smile.
"I still cannot believe that you're here," he said.
I couldn't take it anymore.
"Sir? We're already a bit tired, could you give us our key now?" I said with a hint of annoyance.
Audrey tightened her grip on my hand.
He seem a bit taken aback but he still smiled shyly at us and finally gave me the key.
"Thank you," I and Audrey said at the same time.
"Have a good time!" He exclaimed happily.
When we got to the elevator, Audrey glared at me and I smiled.
"Yes?" I said.
"I can't believe what you did back there. He was very happy," she replied.
"Audrey, we've been there for about 10 minutes. We're already tired and of course I still felt bad for the man."
Her eyes softened and she just nodded. We then change the topic.
While we're talking, we heard the ding of the elevator. Later, the elevator door opened.
We quickly went out and made our way towards the room we're going to stay in.
"I guess this is it," I said when we got in front of the room.
I grabbed the key and unlocked the door.
We were quiet surprised when we got in, the room was huge.
"Wow," we both said.
The room was painted white with pastel blue curtains and pillows and there's a round table beside the king sized bed.
We went to the closet and put our things in. After that, we went to the bow window to check the view.
"Marvelous," Audrey commented.
Since the sun was already setting, the colors of the sky were blue, violet and orange.
The whole place had lights already, even the swimming pool.
"I want to go down," she said.
I smiled and said, "We should change our outfits first."
She then asked, "May I take a bath?"
I nodded and she kissed my cheek. My cheeks heated.
She just smiled, grabbed her towel and bag then went in the bathroom.
'I'm going to tell her why I love her later.'
Crap. Why am I so nervous?
I need to calm down.
I'm just going to call home.
I then headed towards the bedside table and dialed home.
I sat on the bed as I wait.
"Hello?" Uncle answered.
"Hi Uncle," I greeted.
"Hello James! How are you?"
I smiled and slumped down.
"I'm feeling great but nervous," I replied.
There was silence for a moment.
"Why are you nervous?"
I gulped and said, "I'm going to tell her why I love her."
"James, just calm down. Don't think about it too much," he said.
"You're right but, I'm just very anxious. Maybe she doesn't love me the way I do."
"I'm sure she loves you back. Don't give up," he said happily.
I smiled and nodded.
"Thank you, Uncle. You're a big help."
"Anything for you Jimmy. I need to go now. Your Aunt is calling me now. Good bye!"
"Good bye!"
We both hung up. I took a deep breath and smiled.
'You can do this James.'
