[Telephone ringing]

[Other line declined call]

What is the point of hoping at all? I fucked it all up. She won't answer my call.

I've been up for 3 nights already. I couldn't sleep because images of Audrey kept on running around my head.

I hurt her and I became a liability.

I couldn't even eat and I felt sick. I should probably see a doctor by now but I couldn't.

My friends are supportive. They would visit me and give me food but I would usually just fake a smile or laugh and whenever they're out of sight, my appetite would always go away.

Then 2 weeks have passed and I'm already weak.

"Goodness James! You have to think about your health too," Elizabeth shouted.

"I'm fine, Eli."

"I'm not going to believe you this time. I have to call Audrey."

My eyes widened and sat up.

"Please don't," I begged.

She smirked and chuckled.

"Okay then. Oh look at the time, I have to go now," she said when she stood up.

"Hey I just noticed something," I paused.

"You didn't bring me any food," I added.

She shrugged and replied, "What's the purpose of bringing you one when you would just eat half of the food every time. Anyways, talk to you soon. Goodbye Jimmy."

And with that, she went out.

Everything is just a mess.

My bed is undone, photographs scattered all around the floor, beer bottles everywhere, and a pot full of cigarettes on the side of my table.

Even my mind is a mess too.

I sighed and laid back on the bed.

When will everything be okay again?

~~~~~~
"So, where are we going?" I asked, glancing at Audrey who was wearing a lime green dress with a white coat.
"We're going to visit Eiffel Tower and many more sights!" Audrey replied happily.
"I'm excited!" I replied with the same tone as her.
We literally ran out of the hotel and quickly called a taxi cab. Audrey then told him our destination and the kind man accepted. I let her in first then me.
"You're really pretty, Ms. Hepburn," the driver complimented shyly.
Audrey giggled and replied to the man, "Why thank you."
He then replied, "You are one lucky man, Mr. Dean but you broke her heart!"
~~~~~~

"What the hell?" I shouted when I sat up.

I clasped my hair out of frustration and anger.

There were sweats everywhere in my body and my heart felt heavy.

"I just want her back," I muttered sadly before laying my back to the bed harshly.
