Before landing to Paris, I kept making sure that the most important things were ready; my map, cameras, passport and of course, my English to French dictionary.
"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage is stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank you," a stewardess said
I immediately followed the orders.
Along the way, I started writing on my journal. The journal has a very minimal design - it is a simple black leathered notebook.
I opened the journal and wrote :
"I'm really nervous but excited at the same time. I can't wait to see Audrey and spend time with her.
The plane ride was long and I still have to take a train when I get to Paris but it's fine I guess.
The food is fantastic too! I can't remember the names of the food that I ate though but all I can say is that it's really delicious!
That's all I could write for now, maybe if Audrey and I will see each other again later, it's either I would fill up five pages of this journal or simply don't write anything because I will have no time to write for I will use all of my time for Audrey.
~ Jimmy ~ "
Just as I finished writing, the airplane finally landed to the ground.

It was freezing cold when I landed in Paris. Good thing, I've brought a thick jacket with me.
I went to buy a hot chocolate first before going in the train. I could see some buildings are still under construction. All because of World War II.
The war had a lot of bad effects. Most of the soldiers were traumatized - well not just the soldiers but almost everybody was traumatized! Lack of food, destruction of places - Gosh there are a lot more!
To make the long story short, the war was a pathetic piece of crap that ruined everything.
I don't want to think about these things, I need to be happy because I'm going to see my Audrey.
I smiled immediately just thinking about her.
I'm so glad that somebody helped me find the right train and where the hotel is located.
I took pictures while waiting and read a book.
I've been in the train for about an hour now but it's fine. I need to be patient. While I was reading a book, I heard somebody shouted that we finally arrived to our destination followed by a 'Choo Choo'.
I gathered all of my things and stood up like these other passengers found in the train.
Then I arrived at another train station.
Apparently, I still have no idea where in the world is the hotel. I went outside and asked the security guard.
"Hello, Sir. The hotel you're looking for is not that far from here. Just take a cab and tell him the address. He will take you there," the guard said.
I smiled, thankful that he can speak english!
"Thank you very much!" I exclaimed happily. I grabbed my things and hailed for a cab.
A while later, a cab finally stopped in front of me. I opened the passenger's door and told him the address. Gladly, he knows the hotel.
He first helped me put all of my luggage in the trunk. After that, we both went in and the cab took off.

"Thank you," I said to the taxi driver as I handed him the cash.
The man simply smiled and said a quick welcome.
After the cab drove away, I grabbed my luggage and went inside the hotel.
The hotel wasn't that large but it wasn't that small either. It's average and cute.
The lobby was filled with men and women with their luggage and there were kids too. On the right, there was a little coffee shop and on the left were the elevators.
I went to the counter and talked to a lovely middle-aged woman with blonde hair and blue eyes.
She instantly smiled when I got to the counter and I smiled back.
"Hi, may I help you?" She sweetly said.
"Hello, may I know if Ms. Hepburn is staying in this hotel?"
Her bright eyes were suddenly mixed with worry. She must have thought that I'm a stalker or some sort.
I quickly reassured her, "My name is James Dean, I'm her boyfriend."
She breathed out a sigh of relief.
"She is staying in this hotel. I shall call her to inform her that you're he-,"
"Jimmy?" A very familliar voice called from my left side.
My head quickly turned towards the direction of the voice.
There in that moment, I could have sworn that my world just stopped spinning and my breath went away.
