I still can't get the kiss off my mind, and that's the reason why I couldn't sleep last night. Every time I remember that scene, it just makes me tremble and right now, I'm still smiling like an idiot.
Early this morning, Audrey told me that she will be having another taping. So, we couldn't meet up. How devastating.
There's nothing to do today. It's still 10 in the morning; maybe a stroll in the park would be great.
I made my way towards the bathroom and took a bath. After showering, I put on a plain white shirt and some jeans, then my favorite black leather jacket. I took one last glance at myself in the mirror then finally went out.
When I got out, I was welcomed by the sun shine. I smiled up, and took a deep breath. It was such a good day. From the majestic sky to the grassy ground, everything is perfect.
As I was walking, something caught my eyes. I saw a lady who was sitting all alone on the bench. When I looked closely, I finally knew who the lady was. It was Pier Angeli. My heart suddenly stopped. When she saw me, her eyes brightened. Oh no. Everything suddenly flashes back.
From the time when we first met, to the sweet memories, to that wedding. I pushed aside those thoughts, and kept walking, avoiding her. She then stood up from her bench and kept calling my name. Oh what a bitter sweet sound! I continued walking, still ignoring her. Suddenly, she grabbed my arm.
"James, please. Listen to me," she pleaded.
I turned around, and saw her teary eyes. It just doesn't make any sense.
"What do you want?" I asked, coldly.
"I can't live without you, James."
"It's all in the past, Pier. I'm already moving on."
Tears started rushing down her face. I can't stand her being like this. She's already married, I can't have her.
"I still love you," her voice was shaking.
"Pier. There's nothing we could do to get back. You're already married for goodness sake!" I shouted, angrily.
I don't want to hurt her, but she should have done something before. There's a lot of questions spinning in my head. Anger and Pain are all I'm feeling right now.
"We both know that I've loved you before, but what did you do? You ruined me!" I added.
"I've never wanted to leave you, James. The wedding was nothing to me," she said.
"Then why?" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"Because I have no choice."
I tightly closed my eyes, and my fists clenched. Suddenly, she hugged me tightly. I froze.
"Let go," I murmured.
She then shook her head. As I was trying to escape, I suddenly heard a familiar voice called my name. When I glanced at the source of the voice, I saw Audrey. Her expression was unreadable. Her distressed eyes were staring at me. I then saw tears forming on her eyes. She sighed, and started walking away. Her once majestic eyes now turned dull. I loosened Pier's grip and ran towards Audrey. She was now running two times faster than me, but I still kept chasing her. Then the rain started falling from the sky and the clouds turned gray.
"Audrey! Please listen to me!" I shouted.
Audrey didn't reply. She was still running. She then ran towards the building's entrance door and shut it, loudly. I stopped and tried to catch my breath. When I'm finally able to calm down, I walked in. People made weird faces at me.
