While Audrey was still taking a bath, I went to the front porch and sat at the swing chair, looking up at the night sky. Good thing, I already took a bath at my uncle and aunt's bedroom.

While I was looking up at the night sky, I heard the door opened. When I looked back, there stood Audrey in a white night gown, not the revealing silky type. It still had sleeves on. It looks like an oversized shirt but still had body. She was wearing socks with a pink fluffy house slipper. She looked adorable as always. I noticed that she was holding a mug.

"Hi," she greeted, shyly.

"Hello. Come over here," I said. I moved and patted on the space beside me. She smiled and went to sit down. I suddenly felt nervous.

Act naturally, James.

"Your aunt made some hot chocolate, it's delicious," she commented.

I just nodded. Then there was silence.

All we could here is the sound of nature. It was calming. When I glanced at Audrey, she had her head held up high with her eyes closed like she was savoring the moment. She was beautiful. The moonlight shining upon her face, and the wind blowing her fringe a bit.

Am I in love with her already?

Mario Lanza's song, Be My Love, was playing softly in the back. This feels just like in the movies.

While I was gazing at her, her eyes suddenly opened then she faced me.

My heart leaped. She was looking right straight into my soul. I can't seem to look away. It was like she put a spell on me.

Without noticing, I started leaning forward. Closing my eyes, ready to close the gap between us. I then felt her hot breath against my mouth now. Without hesitation, I kissed her.

There our lips meet once again.

It was just like the last time, gentle and passionate. I felt butterflies in my stomach again. This feeling is just unbearable! I can't stand this. I even felt like I'm not worthy of such prodigious person.

She started running her hands through my hair, going down to my nape then going up to my hair once more. She does this repeatedly, which made me all flushed and giddy.

I deepened the kiss more by pushing her back a bit. I felt her trembled.

Sadly, we parted. She suddenly put her head on my chest and hugged me. I froze up but quickly recovered. I put my arms around her small waist and pulled her closer. I kissed her forehead and started stroking her hair.

"James, I have a question," Audrey said.

"What is it, baby?" I replied.

She paused for a moment, then breathed in. "What are we?"

I suddenly stopped stroking. I felt Audrey tensed.

"I was about to ask you the same thing too, Audrey," I murmured.

"Oh," she simply replied.

"Do you want to know something?" I said.

She faced up, curiosity subjugated her eyes.

"For the past weeks, I've been doing very well, especially whenever I'm with you. I've ask myself the same question for the past days. I was like, "Does she feel the same way like I do?" or "Are we together now?" I have no idea. I can't just assume, right? That'll be ridiculous. Only you can answer it. I thought it was an infatuation at first, but as I know you better, it suddenly became a whole different story. There were a lot of times when I became jealous of others, who are closer to you. I just realized something just a while ago. I realized that I've already fallen in love with you. There's something about you that allures me so much, and I don't know what it is. I became head over hills for you and its making me hopeless. I can't believe I caught these feelings for you. Love bug, I guess? But Audrey, I want to ask you something that will change our relationship." I said, sober-sided.

She was smiling but her eyes were teary. I wiped the tears off her eyes and started caressing her face. She held my hands tightly as I touch her face.

She sniffed and said, "What is it, James?"

I smiled widely and finally said the words that have been stuck in me for a quiet long time now.

"Will you be mine?"

She started crying, but still beaming. She nodded. I smiled widely and hugged her tightly.

"Yes, I'll be yours, but I have one condition."

I suddenly frowned. Condition?

"What's the condition?"

She paused for a moment and said, "If you'll be mine too."

I grinned and held her tight. All I could feel now was pure happiness.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," She replied.

My heart leaped and my mind became wild. I kissed her again, more passionately and she happily kissed back.

After a while, I carried her to my bedroom and we finally slept, holding each other tightly.
