It was a beautiful day outside, the sun was shining, the flowers were blooming. On this day our trio decides to hang out after Dustin gave the ok, Adrian was incredibly disappointed that he couldn't use his plan to sneak him out of his house, but he obliged regardless.
Our trio finds themselves at a restaurant to get them some milkshakes, while Adrian went in to get them, Dustin and Cole have a talk about their families.
"I don't know, I've never met them." Cole stated.
"Never met them.. So you live alone then? Is that hard?" Dustin responds.
Cole shrugs. "Maybe, I've never really had friends like this before so that's cool, but besides that I don't really think about my parents, can't miss what you never had I guess."
" 'Can't miss what you never had' huh? I don't know what I'd do without my mom, my dad though.. Well whatever, I guess we're more similar than I thought." Dustin mumbles.
"Hm." Cole nods.
Only moments later Adrian walks over with their milkshakes in hand.
"Alright, I don't know about you guys, but I'm really enjoying myself."
Adrian had already drunk half the milkshake
"Yeah me to I- hold on slow down or your gonna-" But Cole was too late, he already had a brain freeze
"AGUH, my head!" Adrian grabs his head in pain
"Haha, I tried to tell you." Cole says mockingly
Dustin laughs to himself
"Hey... what's the... big idea!" Adrian spoke between spurts of pain
"Hahaha... I'm not laughing at you Adrian." Dustin spoke calmly.
"Hm? What do you mean?" Cole questions.
Both Cole and Adrian look at him.
"Well the truth is, I've never really had friends like this before, so it's all very new to me, and so it's kinda funny." He explains
Cole smiles at that and nods his head in agreement.
"Well of course, that's what having friends is all about! :D" Adrian smiles happily
The three of them enjoy their drinks and talk the day away.
-5 hours later-
They were hanging out all day doing random things that piqued their interest but now it was getting dark out and it was about to rain so they decided to spend the night at Coles house since it was closest.
They were taking a shortcut through an open park to get back home when the wind began to pick up.
"Aw man, this is the most fun I've had in ages!" Adrian perked up
"Agreed." Cole responded.
"Definitely, we should do this again sometime!" Dustin exclaims.
"Glad to see you had fun Dustin." Cole responds with a smile.
"Well, of course, you guys are the best friends I ever had." Dustin had a big grin on his face when saying that.
Adrian smiles and looks at Cole before grabbing a hold of his arm. "Hey, did you have fun today?"
"Yeah it was.. nice, I've never had this much fun before in my life as far as I can remember." He responds blushing.
"Whoa your warm, the rain sizzles off of you when it hits you." Adrian noticed
