"What're you gonna show us?" Asked Cole.
"It's something I just remembered, you know how we would train back where we used to live?"
"Yes..." Bitter memories fill Cole's head as he thinks of Adrian.
"What about it?"
"Well you know how you and Adrian came into the room that one time?" Dustin continued.
"Oh... I see where this is going, procced, young one." Cole smirks and takes a few steps back.
"Huh? What're you two talking about?" Luke asked
"You'll see, just step back and watch this." Cole said confident.
Dustin stood still and took a deep breath.
Here goes nothing.
He brought his hands up, charging lightning into them as a bolt of lightning materializes in his hands, and then, a dark thunder cloud appeared above him, the sound of thunder fills the room as he begins.
"Lightning Strike!"
Dustin swung his arms down with a mighty force, striking the ground and sending bolts flying in multiple directions.
Luke holds his hand up providing a shield for the two of them as this occurs.
As the bolts stop flying, Luke lowers his shield, very impressed.
"Holy.." Cole said shocked.
The room had been stained and charred black, originating from Dustin and spreading out far to the edges of the room and climbing up the walls, the air still charged with electricity.
Dustin turns around to face them, covered in the same black soot as the room.
"So.. what do you think..?" Dustin said timidly.
"To be honest Dustin, I've never seen someone so new to prowess be able to put that much power into their attack, I'm very surprised. Well done." Luke congratulated him with a smile.
"Well, I can't say I haven't seen it before, but it's much different seeing it happen rather than just hearing it." Cole said.
"Man, how the hell did you do that D?" Cole asked him.
"Simple really." Dustin shrugged.
"I just took Luke's advice."
"Damn, your something else you know that?"
Cole walked up to him, putting his hand on his shoulder.
"If it's so easy then why don't I give it a try?"
Dustin smiled and nodded his head, walking over to Luke.
"So what, I just say what I'm gonna do right?"
"Yeah pretty much." Dustin said.
Luke gave a thumbs up.
"Oh..."
Cole started chuckling to himself.
"Something funny?" Luke asked.
"You guys should stand back some more, because I'm gonna try something a bit dangerous."
Luke raised his eyebrows in interest.
"You have a target of some kind? I don't wanna blow a hole through the wall." Cole asked.
