3 weeks pass without incident, after finding out about Dustin's power and to Adrian's surprise Cole suggested they start training their powers in case something else happens so they can defend themselves. 

They arrive at the P.G, a gym specially designed for you to practice your powers and abilities in order to make them stronger. In the P.G you are given your own room so as to not disrupt other people training, for larger groups they're given larger rooms for a larger price, this allows the 3 of them to practice comfortably. When it comes to combat training, any damage done is covered in the entry fee.

The room is large, fitting for three people, when you enter, you are faced with large windows of bulletproof glass that let in plenty of sunlight, and can be tinted at your leisure. To the left there is the bathrooms and changing rooms, the middle has punching bags, rope, and other exercising equipment to be used, the right is reserved entirely as a separate battle room, which can be used for practicing offensive moves, it has a large empty middle with obstacles around, as well as safety equipment so as to not get injured to bad, although, if you do there are batches of restorative juices that help you regain lost energy, which helps your body heal naturally.

"Alright you guys know how we do things, today is 10 laps!" Cole coaches.

They run 10 laps around the building and exercise for about an hour afterwards.

-Later-

"Alright now were gonna focus on enhancing our powers specifically using our weapon of choice." Cole states.

Adrian summons a water spear, Dustin summons a sword made of lightning, and Cole simply uses his hands.

"First will be me and Adrian, were going over to the combat room so Dustin, you focus on honing your own technique." Cole explains.

"Got it." Dustin responds.

-In the combat room-

After putting on their safety equipment they prepare to fight.

"You ready Adrian?" Cole Asks.

"As I'll ever be!" Adrian responds excitedly.

"Alright, come at me!" Cole says confidently.

Without warning Adrian launches the spear at Cole who dodges it last second.

"Not messing around this time huh?" Cole remarks.

"Heh, you wish!" 

Just after this Adrian summons another spear and they exchange blows for a moment before Cole blasts him back using fire, Adrian barely blocks it before the next strikes come in.

Cole is fast and strong but Adrian knows him well, he uses water as a shield for his rapid punches, since he was using fire on his hands the water is now steaming hot.

Adrian then makes a large water-ball and makes multiple spears that shoot at Cole, Cole stomps on a nearby table and blocks the raining blows then kicks the table at him. 

Adrian uses the water to stop it but Cole saw that coming and used the table as cover and comes around the side to punch him but stops just before making contact.

"Haha, I win!" Cole cheers.

They power down and begin taking off their gear.

"I was totally going to win! I still had an ace up my sleeve!" Adrian argues.

"Oh yeah? And what was that exactly?" Cole teases.

"I was gonna make anoth- oh you almost got me there you bastard!" He says smiling.

"Wouldn't be much of an ace if you said it now would it?" 

"I'm totally gonna win next time though." Adrian remarks.

"You wish!" Cole responds.

Cole laughs and Adrian punches him in the shoulder.

"Hahaha, ow.. hahaha" 

"Your supposed to stop laughing!" Adrian complained.

"Heh I know, but it's pretty damn funny." Cole chuckles.

"Your so mean, you know that?" Adrian says.

"I am the nicest person you know, what do you mean?" Cole jokes.

Adrian stares at Cole and looks like he's about to say something but he holds back.

"...What is it?" Cole questions.

"Nothing its just.. your eyes are pretty." Adrian says.

"Oh.. I uh." Cole stammers.

His heartbeat grew louder, his palms sweating and his legs felt like they would give out any moment.

"Don't tell me it's because my eye suddenly changed colors." Cole jokes slightly.

"No that's just cool, I.. just accept my compliment." He said blushing.

"Well, your not to hard on them to be fair." Cole says.

"Do you mean..?" Adrian lights up.

"Hell yeah." He reassures him.

They stand there for a moment, before Adrian find the courage to continue.

"You know, I think.. I think there's something I wanna ask you." Adrian says.

"What is it?" Cole swallows nervously.

"Can I.. ki-"

But before Cole could respond they hear a loud crashing noise come from the room next to them, thinking Dustin might be in danger, they share a glance and then rush over to see what happened.
