Prowess

It's been 5 weeks since Cole and Dustin began their training, having had their cardio expedited due to the unfortunate news that Cole and Luke's father was likely after them at this very moment, they had made explosive progress, Cole was able to run for 10 miles straight without running out of breath and Dustin was able to run about 6.5 miles with some extra motivation. Now Cole Dustin and Luke were in the bar celebrating the start of their prowess training.

"Well well, look at you two. It's been 5 whole weeks of non stop training, and you guys have seriously exceeded my expectations, I can say with confidence that both of you are ready to begin prowess training!" 

"Hears to future success in prowess training!" Alexis says with a glass of beer.

"Lexi! The hell are you... oh forget it." Grayson just sat behind the bar watching them.

"Bottoms up!" -Lexi

"Cheers!" -Luke

"Hell yeah!" -Cole

"Cheers..?" -Dustin

They clink their glasses and drink to their hearts content.

-1 week later in the prowess gym-

"Alright you two, you ready?" 

"What no lengthy spiel this time?" Cole chimes in.

"Nope, were getting right into it, now come attack me."

At hearing that Cole immediately dashes towards him at an alarmingly quick speed, Luke is caught off guard but adapts swiftly.

"Hm, not bad."

"Now, Miss."

Cole is confused by what he's saying but he doesn't care and starts throwing out punches hoping to hit him, none of them landing.

Luke conjures a runic circle to block Cole's rapid punches before pushing him back using said circle.

"Come now, you can do better than that!" 

Luke's taunt makes Cole fire himself up(quite literally)and charge fire into his hands to ready a fire blast.

"Take this!"

Cole shoots out a large fire blast from his hands aimed at Luke, but Luke looks completely unfazed. 

Just before the fire can touch Luke, it makes a nearly 90 degree turn to the left completely missing and hitting the wall.

"The hell?" 

Cole readies another fireball and shoots it out at Luke just for the same thing to happen again.

"How am I missing?!"

Cole is about to shoot him again but Luke raises his hand to stop him.

"Hold on, it's Dustin's turn now."

Dustin sits up, not expecting his name to be called.

"M-Me? I don't know I've never really fought anyone before.."

"Well that's why were here you know, don't worry you got this."

Dustin stands up meekly and walks up to Luke while Cole takes his spot and pouts.

"Ok, now come at me."

Dustin just stands there unsure of what to do.

"Not willing to move? Guess I'll come at you then."

Luke sends a punch flying at Dustin's face, sending him to the ground.

"Your opponent won't have mercy on you Dustin, you've gotta be ready to fight for yourself!"
