"What do you think?" Luke smiled at Dustin.
"Hm.. I wouldn't mind but I don't know how Cole would react to that information." Dustin explains.
"Oh, I see.. well I'm sure I can convince him when he wakes up." Luke says.
Cole then sits up gasping for air.
"Wha-What happened? Where.." Cole looks disoriented.
He rubs his head in pain.
"Ugh, my head." Cole said.
"Ah good your up." Luke says.
Cole turns around to see Luke standing tall and Dustin coming to see if he's ok.
"Cole! You alright? Your not still hurt are you?" Dustin said looking at him.
"Yeah I'm fine, just a little headache." Cole says reassuring him.
"Good." Dustin smiles.
"So.. Luke, you wanna explain what the fuck just happened to me??" Cole said, tired of his shenanigans.
Dustin stands back a bit.
"Ok, before you throw a fit let me explain, so, our father, Dominus, he placed a curse on you, specifically on your brain, one that makes it so you can't remember anything past a certain point in your past and I discovered this curse and tried to remove it, but unfortunately... his prowess is far more powerful than mine which makes things difficult." He says.
"But I have a solution, if I train you guys to become stronger, than eventually I think your prowess and mine could work together to remove it from you, either that or.." Luke trails off.
"Or.. what?" Cole says.
"Or we kill him, but that's.. not a good idea, he's far too powerful even for me and- why do you have that look on your face?" Luke says.
Cole began twitching with rage.
"We must kill him." Cole said ominously.
"Whoa relax, we can't jump the gun, he's far to powerful for even me let alone you, so that's not happening." Luke says.
"No, he will die, I'll make sure of it." Cole growled.
"Cole? Are you hearing yourself right now? He's too powerful for us, we can't kill him as we are now." Dustin said to him.
"Then we can have Luke train us to get stronger." Cole snapped at him.
"Your both getting ahead of yourselves, our best course of action is just training you guys and making you stronger, and while I train you guys, I'll also train and all of us will get stronger, then we can remove the curse without ever having to see him." Luke explains.
"Hmph." Cole just shrugged angrily.
Cole.. what happened to my little brother..?
Luke thought somberly.
They'd been up there on the hill for so long that the sun was beginning to set now.
"Well, it's getting late, why don't we start tomorrow?" Luke asked.
"Man, has it been that long already?" Dustin said aloud.
"Feels like I woke up only moments ago." Cole said.
"Well your going to bed early tonight, come on, let's go, I know a place you guys can stay that isn't our pseudo-hospital room." Luke laughs.
"Hm? Something funny?" Cole says.
"Nah, it's nothing, let's go." Luke says still chuckling.
The three of them leave the top of the hill they walk down and walk past the prowess gym turning right, leading to a neighborhood that was behind the bar, everything in this area was so close together.
Luke leads the two of them to a house 4 houses down from the bar, that had a generic look to it, maybe a little worse than average but suitable for living.
"You guys will be staying here, there're 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, so you should have your own space." Luke said.
"Thanks Luke." Dustin said.
"No problem buddy." Luke says happily.
They both look at Cole.
"I'm still mad at what happened earlier, but I do appreciate the house."
-Later-
Both Cole and Dustin sat on the couch having settled into their house, now Dustin was explaining why they couldn't go back to their previous lives.
"So if we go back then we'll be in danger, your father Dominus will probably hunt us down or something to that effect." Dustin explains.
"All the more reason to kill him." Cole said squeezing his fist tightly.
"I understand your anger but we seriously can't go back to where we came from, we'll endanger everyone we're around, apparently he can find us easily." Dustin says.
Cole sits in silence for a moment before speaking up again.
"Bullshit." Said Cole.
Cole.. when did you become so bloodthirsty?
Dustin thought.
