Chapter 48: "Hacienda Villaraza"

Kakatapos ko lang ipakilala si Storm sa mommy ko at kina manang ngayon naman sa family niya. Nung sinabi ko kay mommy na boyfriend ko na si Storm, tumawa lang si mommy. Ang sabi niya, "I know, princess, it took you long enough to tell me." Nag-usap sila ni Storm na hindi ako sinali. Basta ang huli ko lang narinig eh, "take care of our princess, Storm." Tumango naman si Storm at ang sinagot niya, "I fully intend to, tita. I fully intend to take of my life, my future." He then glanced at me.

"Stop fidgeting," Storm said gently.

How can I stop? Nasa harap na kami ng mansion nila Storm. Mansion! Their house is huge. Nung sinabi niya na pupunta kami sa kanila, I know they live like those first class people. But I never expected this grand. I just realized they are few of the elite, the real elites, they are a Mafia clan after all. Kanina, pumasok kami sa isang malaking gate. Above the gate is written on an elegant script, Hacienda Villaraza. Hindi rin tanaw yung bahay nila sa entrance. Nagdrive pa kami along huge trees bago namin ito nakita. We circled around the big fountain bago kami tumigil sa bahay nila.

"Do I look okay?" I asked him.

I am wearing a simple LBD - little black dress - with just a simple cut-out in front and a few lace panels. I don't know what to wear kanina. I don't know if I will wear a long dress, that might be over dressing. I can't wear shorts naman kasi it's too casual for a family dinner. So I settled with an LBD since you can never go wrong with that, plus pumps. I tied my hair in a bun and put dangling earrings. I also wear light make-up.

"You look beautiful," he said. "Don't be so nervous, they'll like you," he caresses my cheeks. Then he smiled naughtily, "you know smoking is good when you're nervous, you wanna smoke?"

My eyes widened when I see myself nodding. Then Storm gave me his arrogant smile before giving me a peck on the lips.

"Better?" he asked.

I nodded once again because I certainly did.

We walked hand in hand as we enter inside the Villaraza Mansion. We are welcomed by a grand staircase and an elegant chandelier. Diretso lang kami sa paglalakad hanggang nakapunta na kami sa dining room nila.

There is a long wooden, dining table that is adorned with a lot of ornaments and flowers. Maraming pagkain ang nakahain. Complete eating utensils din. Parang nasa fine dining. Like at the entrance, may malaking chandelier din dito.

Sa dulo ng table ay nakaupo ang isang lalaki. His face is so aristocratic. Tumayo siya at lumapit sa amin, he walks with authority, nakakaintimadate. But when he smiles, it's so warm. He looked a lot like Storm, kinder version lang. Nang makalapit siya ay agad kong napansin ang kanyang mata. He has those same brown orbs.

"Magandang gabi, ako si Edward, tatay ni Storm," sabi niya.

Nagulat ako. Very foreign kasi nang mukha niya tapos ang fluent niya magsalita nang tagalog. He laughed at my reaction.

"Uh, magandang gabi po," bati ko. Nakipagkamay ako sa kanya, "Ako po si Brielle -

"My girlfriend," tapos ni Storm sa sasabihin ko, putting his arms around my waist.

"There you are!" sabi nang isang babae. Nang makalapit siya ay natandaan ko ang kanyang mukha. She is Dra. Ava. "We were not formally introduced on the first time we met. I am Avalanche Villaraza, or you know me as Dra. Ava, this asshole's sister," turo niya kay Storm bago nakipag-shakehands sa akin at beso.

"Your mouth young lady," another one said, reprimanding Dra. Ava.

Napahagikhik sila Dra. Ava at si Mr. Villaraza.
