On a planet far away from others, in a country that most would consider normal, in a city that no one would suspect a thing, and in a house that anyone would say is normal, lay dormant a girl, a girl whose name was Mary Tzu.

Mary was not a normal girl at all, she was born with an unnatural intelligence that was compared to that of fictional works, with a whopping 1000 IQ. With such innate intelligence, she was able to easily get past even the most prestigious schools out there, yet, she took her time. She didn't want to be like those kids who finished school when they were 12 and be bored for the rest of their lives, knowing they had no friends and no one to rely on.
Graduation Day was something she was hyping up for even if it took no effort whatsoever, it would mean that she would be able to work as the thing she always wanted to be, a scientist.

Mary woke up from her slumber, excited for the nice day and getting ready in a flash. She had just bought new clothing for the occasion and she wasn't going to miss it. As she got ready and exited her room, she dashed to her parents who were already expecting her with breakfast ready on the table.

"Hi Pa! Hi Ma!" - Barked Mary with unusual excitement, her heart pounding and Mary herself jumping up and down.

"Hello sweetheart." - Replied her parents in unison, already knowing why their daughter was so excited.

Mary was eating quite quickly thanks to the excitement of the upcoming event for the day, her mother being a bit upset about it.

"Mary, dear, please eat properly or you might choke." - Begged the mother in a caring tone.

"Imphpmphphph!" - Having her mouth full of food and sustenance, Mary's speech was completely unintelligible.

Her mother would sigh in awe and a little frustration at the reaction of her daughter, while the dad was watching TV. After eating, Mary would practically RUN toward her father, frantically asking him to take her to the event already. The Dad, without much worry, would agree to the errand and go to the garage with Mary. They had a beautiful futuristic car that was able to travel through space.

"So where is it?" - Asked the dad.

"Oh well, it's in Kepler-442B."

"You could just call it Kepler know? Those scientists always have quite the imagination."

"Yeah, I know! It's cool, isn't it?! To get to name things that will go on until the end of time?! Can you imagine it?!" - Frantically asked Mary in extreme excitement.

"Yeah I guess so." - Answered the dad, pleasing her daughter.

Both Mary and her father would hop right in the car, starting with a mystical humming and going through the air with its laser-like wheels.

"Traffic's rough around here now? The news only said that happened in Universe 123 to 234..." - Exclaimed the dad quite angered at how long it took to advance.

"Like hell I know, rumors say that it's because of the Trash-to-Space ratio made by some demented people but those are just fairytales" - Protested Mary against the heavy traffic.

"Yeah, whatever's causing it sure is big." - Replied the dad.

Thanks to one of the best inventions of humanity, Mary and her Dad were able to reach Kepler just in time, reaching just about 5 minutes early.

After waving goodbye, Mary would enter the building where the celebration was taking place.

"U-Uh excuse me! Please! Excuse me!" - Mary said, getting through the lines of people that were in the building, she was weaving through a horde of people.

After getting past the huge amount of people in the entrance, she saw three familiar figures, already gathered and chatting between themselves. One was Jacob Bohr, her childhood friend, the other was Michael Toht and the last was Jane Weyn, they had known each other ever since school and was one of the reasons Mary could mitigate her boredom with these friends.

"Hey guys!" - Mary greeted her friends, happy.

"Oh hey, Mary! Ready for today now, are we?" - Asked Jacob with a smile, like always.

"Mhm, I've brought everything I need for our graduation!" - Replied Mary.

"That's right mate! All of our work will finally be rewarded!" - Announced Michael, which got Mary all the more thrilling.

Mary and the others would go to the pedestal, where the teachers and director as well as other students are, where everyone would be happy and celebrating their victory. After the director gave a speech, Mary and the others got their certificate and they were finally allowed to do as they pleased, as now that bond was unrestricted. After the celebration, Mary, Jacob, Michael and Jane talked about the occurrences in the multiverse and how it was being managed by the overall government.

"You heard of The Rebels?" - Asked Jacob to the others.

"That dumb rumor everyone's talking about? Yeah, of course, I've heard about that it's all over the internet now." - Hissed Mary, slightly annoyed.

"Case is, I did notice some of those rumors being true about these "rebels", that they're trying to throw trash to bury the multiverse or provoke a black hole?" - Mustered Jacob.

"Yeah, the fact that, out of all the options, they use TRASH to bury the multiverse is kind of surrealistic and a bit illogical." - Scoffed Mary in an annoyed tone.

"Thing is, I did see some random junk parts of spaceships in my telescope, and the ratio of space to debris is getting bigger and bigger each day." - Stated Jacob in a worried tone.

"Nonsense, the trash and junk are not from some weird "rebel" humans or whatever, it's because people leave random stuff in the space thinking it's one big dump, without any care for others, it's very selfish." - Replied Mary with a bit of hate.

"I guess you're right, but we haven't got past this trouble even when our civilization wasn't even Type 1 yet, we might need to do something about it..." - Answered Jacob, to the protests of Mary.

"That's quite ludicrous, we, as students, can't accomplish such a feat because we don't have the equipment nor manpower to do such a thing. Besides, I doubt it's going to get bad to the point where we'd need to discover more universes or stuff like that." - Asserted Mary.

"I-" - As Jacob was about to speak, Michael interrupted him with another comment.

"Lads, we shouldn't worry about those things, we're here to celebrate that we're finally being people, well-formed persons who are contributing to society as a whole! Do yer honestly think that the "rebelz" matter on this occasion? Hell nah! I'd say we chump a few beers and enjoy life like it should be enjoyed!" - Suscitated Michael, as he chugs one bottle of beer and goes for another one.

Mary decides to go elsewhere to breathe in fresh air while Jacob strolls around the facility, remembering the good times, while Jane follows suit with Michael to avoid him getting in any trouble, Yet in the mind of Jacob lingers a thought that this perfect utopia will not last long, as everything, nothing lasts forever and this utopic multiverse is not the exception of such constant. The fact that trash is accumulating and some maniacs want to destroy everything including Mary, destroys him.

"M-Mary..." - Mumbled Jacob in-between the people with a thoughtful and grim look on his face, looking down.

Ever since his childhood, Mary had been a great friend of his, she defended him from bullies and always was around him when he needed her the most. Jacob wouldn't bear something happening to Mary and he only wanted to protect her, he wanted to be close to her and never let someone touch her like she did to him, he wanted to repay her for all of that time together, laughing, sharing moments and being happy. Yet the uncertainty of it all leaves him in awe, will he be able to make a move? Or will time make a move first? After the celebration, each individual went back to their respective homes, likewise, Mary had been picked up by her dad and brought back home to celebrate there as well.

Yet, in the middle of the celebration, someone who wasn't expected knocked on the door. The dad opened the door and there she was, the principal of the college Mary attended.

"Is Mary here?" - asked the Principal.

"Indeed ma'am." - Replied the dad.

"I believe this is of utmost importance, I want to give this card to Mary, she has been selected for a "special job" by inter-universal governments" - Announced the Principal.

"O-Oh... My Mary?" - The dad asked sounded flabbergastered with these news, for her daughter to achieve such a prestigious opportunity.

No one knew Mary's supernatural intelligence for she had kept it hidden, she had only got perfect scores but never dared to do any intellectual tests nor push herself to the limits. Something must be going on. After the chatter, the dad closed the door and went right away to Mary, to bring her the news.

"Mary, dear... Please read this." - Begged the dad to her daughter in a still shocked tone.

Mary picked up the card from the principal and her eyes widened in awe as she began reading the card from the principal. They wanted only the best of students from the college to assist. This was a great achievement by itself, more so if it had to do with the Inter-Universal governments. Mary jumped and recoiled in excitement as she mentally prepared for that day when they'd be introduced to this place, which was short of nothing to tomorrow.

"Dear, why would they make you work just one day after your graduation." - Protested the mother, sharing her concerns.

"I-I don't know but I wanna go! Please Please Pretty Please?!" - Replied Mary, she felt like she had butterflies in her stomach from these news.

Her mother shook and agreed to the petition, even if it was at the very least surreal for this petition to come to their door. Mary had to prepare now, for tomorrow was another day of her life that would mark her adventure toward a new horizon, the objectives were unclear but the only thing clear here was that it was of utmost importance, she must not fail her parents and herself for this task, only time will tell.
