So far so good, she hasn't reached out to me yet.

I ponder as I wander through the grocery store aisles, scouring for the snacks and drinks that Lea asked me to buy. Tonight is girl's night and I'm looking forward to it. It's been too long since I got to hang out with Lea. I keep subconsciously checking my phone and whenever I catch myself, I can't help but feel annoyance wash over me. Grabbing the snacks and drinks, I make my way back to my apartment. I quickly check to see if everything is ready for the sleepover, it is. I sigh in relief and anticipation while I eagerly wait for the evening to fall.

It's six o'clock and I'm rushing around, gathering blankets, pillows, movies, drinks - everything. I feel like a chicken with its head cut off. Suddenly the doorbell rings and my lips stretch into a broad smile as I waddle to open the door. I'm met with Lea holding her bag and she already had a sleeping mask slapped on her forehead.

"Hello!" She smiles and walks in to throw her stuff onto my floor before she turns to me and hugs me. She sighs in relief. "Finally, we can have some time together again. We work in the same space but yet we see each other so little."

"I know" I sigh. "It's been rough, I've also been all over the place but let's not think about that right now." I smile and scoot her over towards the living room. "I managed to find the drinks you told me to get." Smirking I waltz towards the cabinet and pull out a bottle of alcohol.

She looks at me and laughs. "You better be making cocktails tonight, or I'm gonna strike," she teases.

"Obviously." I roll my eyes playfully. "I might not be a drinker, but one or two will never hurt." I walk over and flop down on the couch next to Lea, our laughter ringing out in the air. For a moment, all my worries dissipate and I can simply enjoy being in her presence. As we settled in for the night, we had impulsive plans of making a delicious meal, but after several failed attempts things quickly devolved into ordering take out instead. With a wave of defeat, we decided to just sit back and enjoy some movies instead - our pride (and stomachs) could take no more punishment.

As we sat on the couch beneath a blanket I can see Lea turn to me from the corner of my eye. Lea is gazing at me with a solemn expression, like a cat that's deep in thought near their bowl of water. I can't hold it in any longer.

"What is it, Lea? You've been looking at me like you want to take over my soul or something."

Lea immediately shoots up and smiles. "Nothing, you just seem like.. you're hiding something."

I nearly choke on my drink, feeling it burn in my throat and threaten to shoot out my nostrils. "Hah!?" My eyes snap to hers and I cough. "Don't be ridiculous, I'm not hiding anything what are you talking about?"

She furrows her brow in confusion. "You don't normally disappear like that from work, without telling me."

My mind shoots back to last night when I vandalized Fedorov's car and immediately went home after. "Yeah, I had some things to take care of. I also didn't really feel good, so I asked Micha if I could leave earlier."

Lea tilts her head and nods "Alright, well if that's the case I'm glad you feel better so we can have this sleepover."

"Agree." I smile before we continue to watch some ridiculous movies that she chose.  I'm jolted out of my moment of peace when my phone suddenly starts ringing, making me and Lea leap in our seats.

"Jesus!" Lea gasps, her gaze following the source of the noise to my phone on the table. She doesn't wait and leans over to grab my phone for me. "Who the hell is 'Manwhore' ?"
