Disclaimer:
This narrative is a product of imagination, with all character actions occurring within fictional settings. The series explores themes that are darker and may involve unhealthy relationships and topics.
Under no circumstances should toxic behaviors and actions be celebrated or romanticized in real life. Relationships marked by toxicity or violence, as well as issues like obsession, drug addiction, stalking, murder, and unclear consent, are not to be viewed through a romantic lens.
What you don't have to worry about while reading my stories: trigger warning edition.
- SA (sexual assault)
- Cheating (if it happens it won't be the main lead, it will be a recounted memory but no active cheating.)
- Unexpected pregnancies (it'll always be clear if it will happen or not)
- Non-consent (there will be dubious consent but it will always be made clear that both parties are consenting)As a dark romance girlie myself I read a lot and fuck with a lot of dark stuff, I can stomach a lot. However cheating and SA are a big nono in my book. I can't stomach reading it let alone write it.
Dark romance is NOT defined by SA. It's much broader than that. Thank you.
Hopefully this will give future and regular readers reassurance as to what to expect from my work.
Enjoy the ride, and remember.
Let's keep it safe, let's keep it fictional <3Love,
Nowyne xoxo
