Four years later, Error's POV

SLAM! Bang!

"GUESS WHO IS BACK!"Killer shouts

"KILLER I SWEAR TO-!"Dust growls, getting up to confront him

"Oh don't start you."Blue says, pulling him back down.

"Killer, please. There are better ways of coming in and you can't keep breaking doors."Outer sighs

I chuckle, seeing Dust and Blue enter with the newlyweds as they settle down on the couch. Blue sits with his two-month-old twins in his arms and Outer has a firm grip on Killer's hand.

"Yes, my galaxy.~"Killer purrs

Farmer sleeps in an armchair with Solros and baby Lovespoon in his lap. Lovespoon is the oldest of the babies in the room as he was only born a year after Killer moved out. Killer married Outer the following year. Solros smiles as he pulls a blanket over his father and new little brother. Nighty is upstairs talking with Dream, his recent brother-in-law Cross, and their baby Lux. Both Radier and Moonquake can be heard cooing to their new baby cousin upstairs after being told to let the other babies rest. I smile, reminded of the future I briefly saw years ago and the joy of experiencing it for myself now.

The castle has certainly adjusted and been transformed inside over the years, bringing new life into it. It went from a home to a gang and meetings to a home baby-proofed and supposedly Killer-proofed during his absence. Abandoned rooms that once were gathering dust are now decorated and labeled for the new grandchildren to stay in if they choose to and other rooms are full of toys for them to use. The dungeons that once kept any hostages or troublemakers to feed info or negativity from are now spaces collecting dust since the door to that stairwell has too many locks to count. Nightmare wanted to make sure no kids got lost down there. But he isn't against using that space again if anyone dares cause the family trouble. The rooms that once held meetings discussing how to handle the Star Sanses are now either storage rooms or made into library spaces for the kids. Yes, Nighty has a huge library for himself but he doesn't want the kids getting hurt sneaking in there or trying to get a book too heavy or kept too high from them. So he has made some rooms into libraries dedicated to educating them in anything they could desire to learn and plenty of fantasy stories to keep them entertained as well. There's only one meeting room left untouched and that's meant for discussing how to handle any new threats that come up to bother us. Shattered and other foes have been stopped or kept away for years but of course, with our work, there's always going to be someone causing trouble. Can't work in destroying AUs or spreading some negativity without expecting some complications. Nightmare has even tried to Horror-proof the castle after considering what his kids may inherit from him. So along with any baby-proofing or Killer-proofing, nearly everything that a baby could try to bite on is cushioned. He didn't want one of Horror's kids to use their sharp teeth to eat something or hurt themselves in any attempts...Horror did that plenty in the first days that he spent in the castle so Nighty does have some history to back up his concerns.

Still, it's a wonderful and gigantic shift that our lives and this castle have taken now that I think about it. Years ago it was just home to a gang and missions, yet now it houses a family and the happiest memories I can recall. The ones we once fought against now come to family visits or holidays...except Ink. My code keeps him locked out of our property. The Murder Time Trio is now the trio of uncles who are building happier lives than they ever probably considered when in battle or on missions. It's certainly happier lives than what their AUs offered them. And Nighty has certainly been happier now that he isn't stressed figuring out what mission or plan to do next. The time he spends with the kids says enough. He and Dream are closer brothers than ever and I doubt they could've imagined meeting each other's kids, having a truce or brotherly bond again if they were told so years ago. Nightmare probably would've slapped whoever said that with a tentacle for saying such an insulting lie. Yet here we are, living that "lie" as a truth.
