It's dark in Jessica's bedroom, no light at all. The only person inside the bedroom is Jessica, hugging her favourite toy Doggie on her arms really tight, her way of showing she's not alone in her sleep and dream. Besides, nothing can stand in the way between them.

A door screeches but it didn't wake Jessica up. She continues sleeping as her eyes remain closed.

The door screeches again but this time, from top to bottom. This starts to awaken Jessica but she continues keeping her eyes close.

The screeching sounds begin to turn more louder, all coming out of the door. Jessica finally awakens but doesn't scream. She thinks her mom and dad are outside the door, making noise.

Nevertheless, she goes to take a look outside. Opening the door, she sees nothing. The hallway lights are still open. Her parents usually keeps the lights in the hallway open to ensure that there is no one there. She's fine with the dark but there has to be light outsider her room. Jessica's scared that there could be ghosts haunting her as the ghosts always use the dark to get their victims.

Nothing she's seeing right now, she closes the door and goes back to her bed. With that in her mind, she closes her eyes.

As her eyes slowly close, the door screeches again. This awakens Jessica as she opens her eyes and looks at the door. This time, the door was open. Left open.

"Mom, dad!!" Jessica becomes startled by it, thinking her parents are just messing around with her or just getting something inside her room but they would never leave the door open that wide. This starts to become a little strange for her.

Approaching the door before closing it. Slowly and carefully. Once it's closed, one of her small balls bounces on the ground. Up and down. Up and down. Up and down.

"Hello!" Still thinking it's her parents but it's beginning to scare her. She doesn't know who's in
her room. She opens the light in her room but the light turns off immediately.

Frightened, she tries to turn the lights back on but it's not working. She continuously flips the
switches with no effort. Jessica starts to become scared. She runs to her drawer. Inside the drawer is her black flashlight and thankfully it still has batteries so there will still be light in it. She quickly grabs it and opens it.

Moving her hands around the area, the room still remains clean. Nothing has been moved around but it still scares her.

"Who's there? She shouted, focusing her eyes on the toilet. No answer on whoever's resting in this room.

"I'll run to my parents. They'll... they'll call the police." No answer at all. The silence is unnerving Jessica, she feels like there is someone there but is waiting for her to come out.

She approaches the toilet slowly. Slowly, wanting to see if there's someone inside or maybe some supernatural stuff that appears to haunt her. As she slowly reaches the door. The door bangs.

Screaming, she runs back to her bed, putting all the blanket covers around her, as the door keeps banging and banging. The banging started becoming more violent as the parts of the door starts breaking apart. Jessica starts to crying, wailing for her mom and dad to come for her. She screams too as the banging continues.

It would last for more than a minute. Till it stops. Jessica notices the banging stops but she cries, scared by the noise. She wants to stay under the blanket but her mind, her curiosity and caution gets the best of her. She looks up and sees the door. Damaged and broken, she starts breathing too fast.

Still scared, frightened over the noise.

She can smell something. On her left. Some ugly breath, she can hear breathing from her side. She slowly looks on her side as the breathing there gets more faster. Once she sees that person, she cries, the person is a dark figure. Hard to be seen. It grabs her in a quick second.
