Garage Night

The area is now completely dark, hard to be seen by anyone walking past by. But now the streets are completely empty. Everyone is probably asleep, watching tv, in a pub or outside with their group of friends. The house is also dark with no lights opened with Jen's car nowhere to be sighted as she continues studying with Gary in the university library.

Bus number 43 stops at a bus stop that's nearby Danny and Jen's house. The door opens and Danny gets out of the bus. Inside the bus, there wasn't a lot of people inside. Some of them Danny noticed were sleeping. He's probably thinking they'll miss their stop if they continue sleeping. Danny is also tired, due to waking up early to get to his first day of school, as a result making him feel sleepy for the night.

The bus leaves, Danny walks to the house, using his key to open a small, black door next to the front gate. The front gate is only used for Jen to put her car next to the house. The door next to it is suitable for people who want go inside the house simply by walking. Also, only Jen's car be used for the front gate. Others would have to park their car somewhere else and then use the door to get themselves in. It has a doorbell, once it's rang, Jen would look into a small tv that captures footage of anyone coming out of the house.

Inserting the key into the door lock, it opens. He closes it back and locks it, ensuring no one tries to get past. He walks back to the house. As soon as he approaches...
Clank. Danny heard a metal clank sound from his right side. He looks at it, seeing nothing. A little confused about it, nothing bad. Minding his own business, he inserts the other key into the front door key lock. Twisting it and opens. He goes inside. Then opens the light. Revealing the hallway to remain the same as it used to be. He closes the door and locks it. Danny takes off his jacket and hangs it on the wall.

He gets his phone out of his jacket pocket once hanged. Opening it up, he sees a message from Jen.

I'll still be with Gary in the Library doing work for our course but I'll finish up in 30 minutes. Also, don't forget to lock all the doors around the house before you go to sleep. See you home Danny. Good night. Love you.

Feels really lonely out there, no one to actually be there for him. And also completely quiet. The whole of the house is empty with no noise, nothing.

He walks around, the kitchen dishes haven't been cleaned yet. Jen didn't really have a lot of time to clean them up in the morning. He goes upstairs to get his Apple Airpods, wanting to listen to some music while doing so, as well as do the other clean ups his sister wasn't able to do around the house. Walking upstairs in a fast pace, he makes it to his bedroom. Opening the lights, his bedroom remains completely the way it used to be. Looking around, trying to find his airpods, wanting to have some good old music. The music he would mostly listen to is pop and rock. They both bring out his emotions, the energy and to let out everything out of his chest.

Where are his airpods? He went to his drawer. He usually puts his airpods at the top of his drawer. So that once he's awake, he could use it to listen to music. As well as the place where he can easily find it.

He might have forgot that he must have put them somewhere else. Silly him he would think, he looks into all the places:

Under the bed
Below his pillows
Under his blanket
Inside one of the drawers

He looks everywhere for it. But it's nowhere to be found.

Where the hell did I put it?

He thinks for a minute. Trying to wonder what he must have done with it. But the thing is, it was always there the whole time, he wouldn't have moved it anywhere else.

Thinking for another minute, he remembers something. One of the features Apple included to find lost devices is the Find My Device. Every product from this company would add that feature to find the device their customers have lost on the way. With that, he brings his phone out, opens the app and the app opens, revealing its map and scanner. He presses 'Danny's Airpods'. It would show him where his airpods are.
