A car arriving in front of the school as the trio have waited in front of the school entrance for a few minutes. Feeling cold, freezing over the weather just to wait for Howard to arrive.
The car, it's not an uber car. Just a normal, plain white car. The trio is unsure if it's really him based on how the car looks. As soon as the car parks in front of the school entrance, the window lowers down. Revealing to be Howard."Hey kids."
"Howard. What happened to the other car you were driving?" From last night. Howard knew they would immediately ask him about it.
"The other car, oh that one is for my job, this car is for my normal life." The trio understands now. Unless he's not allowed to take the sticker off the black car.
"Well come inside." The trio happily agree. Amy and Joe goes inside the back of the car while Danny sits in the front seat, next to Howard. Now everyone is inside.
"So guys, where should we stop at for our conversation now that I'm free for a while?" He asks. It's good to have a conversation in the car but being in the car for too long, could give Howard a bit of a headache. He doesn't like to be inside the car for too long so going outside, having a good breeze.
The trio thinks for a minute. Joe's stomach rumbles. "I'm feeling a bit hungry."
Giving Howard a thought. "What about we stop by at Randy's American Diner?" This immediately excites the trio.
"Hell yeah!" Danny said. Now with a place in mind, Howard starts the engine of the car and drives off.
Jen, still inside the car, driving to the address the mother has given to her, has arrived to the street. Unsure where the house is as she looks at the different addresses around. Similar design the houses have.
23, not a hard number to find but the starting point of the street starts from 113. Not a long way for her, as long as she goes slow. Not wanting to bump anyone in front of her. The road is small, would cause cars to drive around a parked car to continue driving, otherwise the opposite car may wait till it's away from the road.Few minutes, 23. She found it. The house looks a bit old. Not as cleaned or well designed as the other houses in the streets. The paint on the door, filled with scratches all around it. Parking her car in front of the house. Blocking the resident's car in front of her. Not minding it, she won't be inside for long.
Now parked, inserting her key into the car engine, twisting it before hearing the sound of the car, turning off its engine. The power of the car, now turned off. Grabbing her bag from the bag which remains zipped, closed, shut tight, opens the door next to her, coming out of the car. Wrapping the bag around her bag, she closes the door, pressing the button on her car key. Causing the car to make a noise, meaning its closed now. No one can break in.
Approaching carefully to the front door. Her eyes, focused all around the house, not surprising at all for her. Doesn't really give her good vibes. Taking caution the stranger may not be what she appears to be.
Now in the front door, raising her hand before connecting it to the front of the door. Knocking it. Once, twice, quietly. No response. Staying inside for a while as no one comes out to the door. Looking around as she waits...
A doorbell, on the other side of the door. Walking towards it, pressing the button. A loud sound coming out of it. Going through the house, allowing the mother to hear it.
Inside the house, a woman, thin skinned, white pale and her hair, looking curled and messy. Not even close to fixing her hair, choosing to remain looking like this. No one could even bother her. Hearing the doorbell from her front door, her attention, choosing to focus on the dishes. Soap and the dish, connecting, rubbing it. The doorbell rings again. Annoyed, she drops the plates. Doesn't even care if the plates are broken or not as she grabs a robe from the door, wearing it as she approaches the front door.
