A hand grabbing the water before raising it, close to Jen's mouth as she lets the water flow through her throat, reaching to her stomach. Only drinking half of the water, she carefully places the cup back into the table.
Jen is the only person in the room as she observes the entire living room. The living room, messy, not cleaned. Doesn't bother Jen at all. Before her eyes turned its attention onto...
A portrait, hanging onto the opposite end of the wall. The portrait, a family photo. Between her, Howard and Jessica. Finding it really cute.
The woman returns to Jen with a plate filled with cookies. Placing it on her table before lowering herself down onto her own chair.
"Sorry for how I acted." Jen looks at her.
"It's okay. I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry about what happened to your daughter. And you're not the only one who lost someone." She looks at Jen with a bit of surprise.
"You as well?"
"Well, not like he disappeared, he's... he's more gone than left."
"Oh, well I'm sorry to hear that." Jen smiles. She appreciates it, as well as forgiving her for the attitude the woman gave her on the phone call and from the other end of the doorbell call.
"Now, I'm guessing you wanted to know something about the house. The one you're living in."
Jen agrees. She needs to know more about the house herself and Danny are living in and what really happened to the family from her side. This seems to annoy her as she told the company not to sell that house again.
"It's just hard... knowing that this night, was the last time I saw my daughter. Putting her to bed, telling her story, before I looked at her one more time, knowing that I won't see her again. And it still fucking hurts." Jen immediately walks towards her.
"Hey... try to remain calm okay. Tell me what really happened at that night." The woman hesitates. She's scared to talk about it. The worse night of her life. Her eyes focused on the floor.
"Jessica." Walking upstairs, approaching her room. Similar to Danny's room. She heard the noise coming upstairs.
Not hearing anything from her room. She puts her hand on the door knob. Doesn't feel like going inside. Thinking she may be asleep, or going through a feeling she hates going through. Opening the door. Only to see...
Nothing. She's not there but the room, it's a mess. Damaged objects all around the room. Filling her with anxiety and fear as she loudly calls her name.
"Jessica!!" She doesn't hear anything inside the room. Unable to control herself further, she runs around the room. Looking everywhere.
Under the bed, under the blankets, in the closet, in the bathroom. Jessica is nowhere to be seen. She's not in her room. Her instincts slowly turning into rage and fear as she runs downstairs in a quick matter of seconds as she calls her husband. Howard.
"Howard! Jessica is not in her room!"
"What!!" He said as he immediately runs back upstairs. Going inside her room, Jessica is nowhere to be found.
"JESSICA!!" He screams as he too, without a single thought, looks around the room fanatically, aimlessly. Similar to what his wife had done but she's nowhere to be found.
Panicked and unsure of what to do next, he runs around the whole house. Shouting her name, many times but not heard as his wife, tears coming out of her eyes as she starts to cry. Wailing in despair as Howard runs around the house. To a point he goes outside.
